Low cost, decent quality sound. They work fine with my small SBC’s.It’s a steady companion on my electronic work bench now.

There seems to be a lot of discussion regarding cable length. The cables are fixed to the speakers. The cable between the two speakers is about 24 inches.The audio cable that will connect to your PC or other device is about 6 feet long with a small volume control device in the cable about one foot from the speakers. The volume control works well. But you can also advance it to maximum and control the volume from your device.After the volume control there is a dual cable ending in a 3.5 mm stereo plug and a standard USB plug. The cable pair can be peeled apart from each other if your audio output and your USB connection are not close together. The overall length of this cable pair as measured from the speakers is about 6 feet. The USB plug is for power only. It is not an audio input. The speakers will not work without a USB connection.Each speaker is a 2.5 inch cube. I don't know why Amazon lists a 3.5 inch dimension. That dimension is clearly wrong. These are very small speakers.As seen in the photo, the metal disk is actually the speaker. There is no additional speaker grill. So I suppose it could be damaged if handled roughly or thrown into a backpack without additional protection.The audio quality is quite adequate for my needs. I rate it better than many laptop speakers I have used. I would recommend these speakers to anybody looking for an inexpensive speaker system.

I wanted some portable PC speakers for travel & laptop use, so something small and lightweight but with an AUX input.For the low price, this gets the job done. Sound quality leans too far on the high-pitch side but at least bass is decent enough to beat the laptop. Max volume is excellent.Cables are long enough for a laptop, but not really for a desk.Most importantly, the whole set is super compact when packed in the included box - 3x3x6.5 inches and under a pound.For fun, I tried using the speakers with my phone and a Nintendo Switch (using the 3.5mm and a USB C to A adapter).They worked perfectly, and sounded way better than the phone & switch's built-in speakers.

Opened my speakers today and they don't work. I've connected them to both of my laptops and nothing. Disappointed!

I needed a small set of speakers for my students chrome laptop so they could hear the readings better. This did the trick. Clear and great volume increase. Do not get me wrong , not talking surround sound here, but good sound for the size and price .

i got these speakers for my ipad which puts out sound at the bottom and not so loud - these speakers normalize BUT they are not really loud - if there are other sounds on like AC or FAN - gets dimmer -with no other sounds - picks up the volume a bit more - not a lot - if you think your getting 4x louder NO maybe 3 times even two .........sorry cute lightweight but not a big sounder

I needed some inexpensive speakers for a low-volume bedroom setup. This is exactly what was needed. Powered by USB but with the 3.5mm jack to actually carry the audio. The in-line volume control is a huge bonus. These are very light and have just enough power for a small setup like in the bedroom. Being small and USB powered, what more can you expect?

I was a little skeptical because of the price, but they work just as expected and look great. The wires may be a little short for some, but I just connected the audio to my monitor to avoid that problem.
