No it doesn't. I bought The Complete Aromatherapy & Essential Oils Handbook for Everyday Wellness by Purchon and Cantele to use as a guide.

Q: What excatly are the bottles..lavendar, etc?

Bottles with roll on tip. They are already combined and labeled with "stress relief", "sleep", muscle relief", etc. Nice beginner set.

Q: Are these safe to use on kids?

I would think it would depend on age of kid, skin sensitivity, and how much you use. Try a skin patch test first.
