Dimensions Counted Cross Stitch Kit Baby Drawers Birth Record Personalized Baby Gift, 14 Count White Aida, 9" x 12"

I like cross stitching and overall find them very simple, but haven't done it as much lately since it hurts my hand. My brother and sister-in-law are expecting their 2nd baby next week and since I did a cross stitch for the first one, I felt like the 2nd one needed one too. They do not find out what they are having so I needed something gender neutral, but different from the first one I did and this fit the bill. It turned out really well. All I need is a name, date, and weight and it's ready to go. It takes a long time to complete, but is well worth the effort for a personal touch.

I made this for our 6th great grandson. The pattern was very easy to read and it looks very pretty when finished. It was well worth the money. I have gotten some patterns that are so hard to read and this was a blessing.

This kit comes with everything you need to complete it. It has all the threads and a clear pattern to follow as well as the letter chart to add in your customization. Just as good quality as other counted cross-stitch kits. You do need to know how to do french knots for this one though. Once it's done, it's going in a little girls room.

Some colors frayed and broke. I called Dimensons and got a message to leave my phone -# and they would call me back. They called back about 6 hours later and left a voicemail that they would replace small amounts. I now need to call them back. I tried to find the colors at both joann's and Michael's and neither had the colors I needed, so the kit may not use DMC floss or are rare colors. The kit is very cute. I have to find a pink mat for framing. Hard to find and Michael's has blue but no pink or lavender. Follow up - I still have not received the floss after a week and I also need to call them because there was not nearly enough for the outlining and add the details, so I will need more of that color and need to call them again. The woman at Dimensions was very nice and will send small supplies of needed floss. She told me that floss numbers in the kit are not available in stores because they are specially dyed. They should either use regular DMC numbers, so that you can buy needed colors or add more strands of the outline color because there is a LOT of outline and details. It would have given it a 5 if I had enough floss. I have been doing cross stitch for over 30 years, so I don't waste floss when stitching.

This sampler is really cute. The instructions are as usually very small, but I make enlarged copies so it is easier to follow. Received my order when promised and got started right away. It is fun to watch it grow.

Really lovely cross stitch. Very easy to understand the pattern and the template for letters and numbers is really helpful. More than enough thread for the whole project and good quality.

The colours are great, the guide is easy to use and follow, I had no trouble following the instructions (no half-stitches or anything crazy like that). Made for a beautiful gift - the parents of the baby I built it for absolutely loved it.

Mein erstes Stickbild mit Zählvorlage. Bisher hatte ich immer nur vorgezeichnete Motive. Ich bin bisher sehr zufrieden. Die Anleitung ist leicht verständlich und die Zeichen sind auf der Anleitung und auch auf der Vorlage gut ersichtlich.Positiv ist, dass die Fäden an einer Art Leiste hängen und genau beschriftet ist welcher Faden welche Nummer hat. Das erspart einem das suchen, welchen Gelbton man z.B. gerade nehmen muss.Der Stoff scheint robust und liegt gut in der Hand.Aufgrund der langen Lieferzeit muss man je nachdem wann man das Stickbild haben möchte einen Monat vorher bestellen, aber das finde ich nicht schlimm, denn es stimmt alles
