I was looking for a doll that looked like my daughter-- and I finally found her! She is lovely. her eyes click as they open and close, but her hair is really soft, they made her scalp darker than the rest of her skin so her hair would look more full. She can be puffed, bunned, and ponytailed. NOT BRAIDED. not enough hair. If she had 2x she would be perfect. I think representation matters more than I can possibly articulate. Thank you for making a doll that my child can see as hers-- dark chai skin and dark curly hair and brown eyes. Just like my little one.

This is a beautiful doll and I'm ordering more for little girls in need as Christmas gifts. I just finished knitting sweaters and hats for 20 black baby dolls and I included a receiving blanket and one extra outfit for each. I only wish I could see their faces when they see their babies for the first time. It will be fun to make the switch to Jaimee. She's the same size as the American Girl doll, and while I'm busy knitting sweaters for the Jaimee dolls I'm having fun checking on all of the clothes and shoes to buy for her on Amazon.

She’s literally a replica of how my daughter looks all the way down to the hair ! My daughter was so happy to get a baby doll who finally had the same hair as her! Just great!!
