Excellent deer deterrent
Great product for repelling deer in my backyard that attempt to eat my arborvitae. I spray down the trees once a month and it really keeps the deer away. Does have a significant odor to it so be careful when using so you don't get any blowback. Will continue to use and work as advertised.

Highly Recommend - The Best Deer Deterrent I've Found!
After trying numerous deer deterrent products over the years—including predator blood, urine, noise makers, and flashing lights—I can confidently say this is the most effective solution I've used. Living in a wooded area with a thriving deer population and limited natural predators, other than cars, I know firsthand how challenging it can be to protect your plants and landscaping. These deer are bold and accustomed to human activity, which makes most deterrents ineffective. That's why I'm pleased to have finally found a product that actually delivers results! While no deer deterrent is 100% foolproof, this one stands head and shoulders above everything else I've tried. What really sets it apart is not just its effectiveness, but how incredibly easy it is to apply to the plants you want to protect. No complicated setup, just straightforward protection that actually works. If you're struggling with deer damage like I was, I highly recommend giving this product a try. It's become an essential part of my garden maintenance routine, and I've been genuinely impressed with the results. Finally, a deer deterrent that lives up to its promise!

Stuff Smells Like Doo Doo Works Like Magic
I have tried numerous deer repellent products over the years including the highly regarded (by some, at least) "I Must Garden" spray. As my Amazon review of that product states, it is a total waste of money. I spent several hours researching these products and finally decided on Bobbex based on a comprehensive review of many well-known and some unfamiliar brands. That review indicated Bobbex was the most effective repellent and my experience confirms those findings. For the first time in the 8 years we have resided in this home all of our blooming plants were on display. We could see deer and/or deer droppings in or around the yard virtually every day of the growing season and my neighbors complained about them devouring their vegetation, but we were spared. The only difference: we used Bobbex. Now here is what you need to know. The stuff is expensive and smells awful. To save money I used the concentrate and diluted it at a lesser rate than that recommended on the container. But I sprayed the vegetation every week during the growing season and occasionally twice a week if it rained. So ultimately I'm not a 100% certain that my cost benefit analysis proved to be accurate. However, even though I often saw deer tracks in the mulch surrounding our shrubs and I could sometimes tell they had sampled the goods the damage was absolutely minimal. Our azaleas, roses, euonymuses, lilies, crape myrtles, all of which are deer favorites and were previously under severe siege, came to full blossom this year for the first time. But you must consistently apply Bobbex to the plants and not allow a window of non-coverage to open. Eventually deer seem to remove your yard from their menu. You must decide how valuable your plants are to you and whether the investment is worth it. It works for us.

Effective For Deer
I have been using Bobbex for many years to keep the deer and rabbits away. It is effective. I reapply once a month or so just to make sure. Wear rubber gloves when mixing and applying since it is stinky.

Bobbex is a natural deer deterrent proven to work!
I am now a fan of the Bobbex Deer Repellent (smells like garlic) compared to other products I bought on amazon. PlantSkydd (dried cow and pig blood powder) was effective, however much more involved to mix. You needed HOT water, stir stick, and wait for bubbles to subside before shaking up in the 1-gal sprayer. In comparison, the Bobbex concentrate can be added right to the 1-gal sprayer as is with any water temperature, and no need to use the stir stick method as you can simply shake the closed pump sprayer. Both state that you should use the product within 5-7 days, as it apparently gets less effective if you apply it when it isn't as fresh. I find myself doing an application, another in 7 days, then a final in 2 weeks, all from the same 1-gal sprayer. Where I live in Buffalo, NY we have the benefit of seeing deer tracks in the snow, so we know the "path" the deer are taking. It's really awesome to see the "after" results as I see their path veers away from the bushes I've treated with Bobbex! Our doorbell cam alerts me every morning whenever animals are seen as well, helping us to confirm our theory that Bobbex actually works. Just keep in mind that snow/rain will wash away the product quicker, so I tend to watch for sunny days to do the application spraying. In conclusion, I'd recommend Bobbex in a 1-gal pump sprayer combo to anyone else dealing with deer eating your landscaping. Thankfully it is quite affordable as compared to buying and replanting bushes and landscaping.
