Horse Lovers Paradise 1000 pc Collector Puzzle by Artist: Mark Frost

I love the Mark Frost puzzles. I think the pictures are a lot of fun. I have bought several different ones, and for some reason, the puzzle quality on Horse Lovers Paradise is much better than the other ones. The pieces are thicker and glossier and have more interesting shapes, plus they fit together better. This one also came with a nice poster, where the other ones didn't. Cra-Z-Art, please make more like this!

It's colorful and with a crisp image. As someone who does many, many puzzles, I appreciate a picture that is not the same old jigsaw puzzle subject. I'm just not up for doing another Grandma's kitchen or the old general store puzzle. So, I'm always looking for something different. Plus, who doesn't love horses? The only problem with this puzzle is that some of the pieces are very delicate due to deep cuts that leave very thin area between notches that is very easily bent or torn. I see another reviewer said hers/his had bits broken off. Mine was all intact, and I was able to complete the puzzle by being careful. I took it apart very gingerly so my mother can do it, but I doubt if she will be able to pass it along to a third person. I did another puzzle by this company, and that puzzle did not have this issue. I say, buy this if you do puzzles once, but if you like to keep them to do again later or pass them on to someone else, this may be an issue for you. Personally, I would still buy this because the picture was really fun.

Although I like this brand of puzzle, they are cutting them into such intricate shapes that tiny pieces fall off before I even unwrap the puzzle fully. There were 11 tiny pieces that had broken off from larger pieces when I opened this puzzle today.
