Is this product safe for the birds that drink and play in the pond water?

Recommend you ask the manufacture. While I see a variety of wild birds drinking and playing in my water feature and I do not see "dead" birds around, I can not say definitively that the product is safe. I have found Aquascape very helpful and does have the environment's interests in mind.

What is the expiration date of this product?

Depends upon the lot #. Keep the product in a sealed container and it will be good for many years to come.

How quickly does this product work?

Works in a day or 2. The algae doesn’t immediately disappear. It kills the algae, you will see it turn a less green color and then it gradually decomposes over time.

What are the ingredients?
