Excellent!
I really love this filter. I expected something cheap and flimsy but its engineered to be very easy to clean, it's just...great. We have this in a 10 gallon tank about 14 inches tall with african dwarf frogs, and it's great. The filters work well, smaller filter size means more relative suction power. The price is good, and fit on parts is good.

Great Filter
Suction cups are very effective and work perfectly, excess white media balls are included, pieces go together easily and stay together without a problem, my guppies easily adapted to the new filter being in the tank and enjoy playing in the gentle current it creates from the spout,& it mounted to their 360 tank without a hassle :)

Great for filtration not for water flow
This filter is great for biological filtration, easy to set up and one hell of a great price. The only area I feel it lacks in is providing sufficient water flow. I bought this filter wanting an option that does not provide much flow and even with low expectations I have found hot and cold spots in my tank due to that lack of water circulation. Fortunately a small circulation pump should provide me with what I need to get my water where I want it so all in all not bad and if you're looking for a low flow filter then this is what you want.

Nicer and bigger than expected
I wasn't expecting much for the price but was pleasantly surprised. Its a nice sponge filter and it looks good in my tank, I like how it came with ceramic media balls, it actually came with a bit too much rather than too little. The green stands out but the clear parts blend into the blue tank background. I should have ordered the 2 pack.

A MUST HAVE FOR ALL FISH AQUARIUMS
AMAZING!! Works wonderful for our 55 gallon tank and keeps water moving and the tank healthy with good bacteria.

Algae grows inside on the ceramic media.
I bought these to help with mechanical and biological filtration for 2 tanks I was overstocked in. I thought a two pack was the answer to give it try but the color has caused me a headache. They have algae growing thought out the sponges and cover the ceramic media, and my nitrates were at 10ppm and wasn’t a spot of algae in the tank. I didn’t know what to think but it was to late to return them. Money just thrown away! I decided to give the black sponge ones ( by Powkoo) a go and pay attention so I could return them if they did the same thing. There are still running and I’m buying enough to put them in all my tanks. No algae no grime no problems and they have helped to keep my nitrates down. Do not buy these they are a waste of time and money.

Excellent filter
The green color gets dirty over time, easy to see when it is time to clean. It does a good job filtering.

Only one flaw i can see
This one has a square connection to the sponges. The tabs that grip this squared shape are only on 2 sides. Soo you can only arrange the sponges straight down or up. I'm using several sponge filters from different manufacturers in various aquariums, this is the first square fitting. This one is in a 5 gallon breeding triops. When i use sponge filters for shrimp and other crustaceans i like a 90 degree angle to the sponge allowing full visual access to the crustaceans enjoying plucking trapped tasties out of the sponges. This is the only flaw i can see so far. Still a great filter.
