This Book Really Worked For Me
Surprisingly better than I expected! I tend to wear a skeptic's hat when it comes to books about manifestation and the law of attraction (what that means about my own money blocks, I'm still working on). However, the book was easy to read, it was well done, and the storytelling was powerful and persuasive. I found myself unable to put it down. Denise isn't talking about woo-woo stuff here; she's really breaking down how things work and how to set up your world for success. It came at a time in my life when a bit of a kick in the pants was needed, and reminded me to go out and meet the opportunities in front of me to make my own luck.Other reviewers have said that it doesn't contain anything "new," if you're familiar with The Law of Attraction or The Secret. True, and also../ there's nothing really new in the universe, is there? Sometimes you need to find the right teacher, or hear the right message at the right time. For some reason, reading this right now unlocked several new insights in my life, so it was well worth it for me to dig into. If nothing else, you'll enjoy reading about how she got married 80+ times around the world, once while diving with sharks. Definitely recommend, even if you want to do a refresher on the ways of manifesting, luck, and the law of attraction.

You had me at "Lucky Bitch!"
This isn't your typical "Law of Attraction" or manifesting book, but rather, it's a get up off of your butt and create your own luck book. When you first dive in (and if you're anything like me you'll devour the book in one sitting!), Denise weaves a story of her own incredible luck (landing a dream job with 6 months of all-expenses-paid travel with her hubby!), brilliantly setting the example of how to win the opportunities you manifest by taking action to actually achieve them. These aren't big things that take enormous effort - she'll show you how the 'little things' add up.Then Denise takes you by the hand and shares her "10 Lucky Bitch Commandments" that bought her ticket into the world of the lucky - I LOVE #2 and laughed my *ss off at #5It's not often I find myself LMAO while reading a book in this genre, but Denise's sass and moxie shine through - she says what many just think about saying.More than a rags to riches story - it's the spirit of women grabbing life by the horns and creating their own definition of joyful freedom. There is at least 1 catalyst message in this book that will get you off your butt and jumping into action.Denise's colorful personality shines through while sharing the magical world of possibility in a down-to-earth manner - it completely hooked me!

A simple blueprint to prosperity
If you've never seen Denise Duffield-Thomas... Make a note to check out her blog. Then grab this book and start taking action to create a life you love.In her book, Lucky Bitch, Denise outlines how she worked with the Law of Attraction to manifest an experience she really wanted - a six-month gig as a professional honeymoon tester. With gratitude and forgiveness at the foundation of her work, she walks her readers through the specific steps she used to create a career she loves, making insane amounts of money, with time and energy left over to enjoy the fruits of her labor. (and explains the title of this book)Sounds too good to be true? I've read several books on Law of Attraction, and this is the most practical guide I've found yet. Dive in and try it for yourself.

Easy read with actionable steps
I really enjoyed reading this book - it was just fun to read! Denise gives a good mix of personal stories and examples and actionable steps to take and journal prompts (as well as extra bonuses to help, like links to a few short videos and a mediation), and she's very real with the reader; she's not just all about "send vibes out there are you'll get it." I love how honest and real she is and her personal examples really help understand the concepts she's explaining.

Nearly the same content as her other book!
What the heck!? I purchased this book and her "Get Rich Lucky Bitch" book. They are nearly identical in content - just different cover/packaging. And now I see that she's doing the same thing with her book "Chillpreneur" - there are two of those now too! Basically Chillpreneur was repackaged to "Chill and Prosper". I've never heard of authors doing this. It's confusing an makes me feel like she just wants us to buy more. Why not just update the book instead of giving it a new title?

Probably the best “manifesting” book I’ve read so far
Denise never disappoints when it comes to giving practical, no-nonsense advice. In this revised edition of “Lucky Bitch”, she pulls down the curtain on all her “manifesting” tricks and, what’s best, explains WHY they work. I couldn’t recommend this and her other books enough to any woman (or man) wanting to create her (his) own version of a First Class Life.

Amazing, Life Changing Book
This book is a life changing. I've read quite a few self help books. This one makes it to the top of the list. She calls you out on your bs, but in a nice way. It forced me to look at my life and change the things I need to change. I highly recommend this book. I can't wait to move on to the next one.

Motivating, but nothing new
This book is quite motivating, especially when the author is telling her story of how she used the Law of Attraction to travel the world. However, I only gave the book 4 stars because it doesn't contain any new information. If you've read about the Law of Attraction before, there's really no point in reading this. It's clear the author put a lot of time into her chapters that focused on specific topics (such as love and money), with interviews of people who have been successful, etc., but much of the information doesn't have anything to do with the Law of Attraction. It's basically people saying I did it, believe in yourself, keep at it and you can do it too. Again, it's motivational, but not groundbreaking. If you're new to the Law of Attraction, read it. If you've studied the Law of Attraction for any length of time, don't bother reading it unless you need a pep talk.

Not for me
Well, I can see others enjoyed it! But, I wish I hadn't bothered. If you know about the whole 'wishing for things from the universe'/'the law of attraction', it's basically that. I'm giving it a go, but by writing a semi-negative review of the technique, I think I'm blowing it 😅It's basically an autobiography about this lovely woman's journey. She used hard work, some lucky breaks and ultra positive thinking/sending signals to the universe to become happy and successful. Good for her! 👍 But not my cup of tea.

Love love this book!
I cannot believe I’ve just found out about Denise (through a podcast) and had to come check out her books!I absolutely LOVED this book so much I read it over two days. I’ve resonate so much with Denise’s stories - I had a lot of laugh out loud moments due to the synchrony.I loved the honesty in this book and was perfectly written which made for easy reading - Denise is a great story teller!I feel so inspired from reading this book (off to read her second) and was so pleased at the end of the book she summarises all the actionable steps as I was going to go back through the book and write them down (it’s almost as if she read my mind)Amazing - so glad that out of the mountain load of books I’ve read this year that this is one of the last ones to end 2018 with. Please continue to write more books, and thank you!

Meh
I think I'm alone in this, but I didnt enjoy the book. Literally the first 75 pages talks about nothing except how she won a competition, but really going into everything- what she said, did, what she wore, what she thought and so on. Then the ten steps, where her advice is to 'get your boobs on board' - I just...if I'm paying for advice, I want better advice than to tell my boobs I love them.I felt the book was very much about her, and as a reader, I want to know what I can do for myself, not essentially read a mini biography about someone else.

10/10
As usual Denise gives you a no nonsense approach to living your best life. You happen upon a sentence and suddenly the penny drops, I'm trying to create something whilst doubting myself in an area of my life I just accepted as bleurgh.Read this and read Get Rich Lucky Bitch, they will change your perspective on soooo many things.

Inspiring
My wife thought this book was an easy read. The informal, relaxed writing style of this book made her feel like you're reading the words of one of your girlfriends. The Author doesn't come off preachy or fake, just a normal woman who has experienced the same everyday problems that many of us face at some point in our lives. She just learned how to use The Law of Attraction, put in the work, and made it work in her favor. The fact that she seems so down to earth is why she loved this book so much. She said it was very inspiring to read and she can't wait to go back through and put her practices into action and start manifesting awesome stuff in her life.
