Foam tape gives a little extra "grip" so can wear with top down the Miata and the hat stays put. Get lots of compliments on the new lid! Now for an update: The review above was for the beige fedora. Liked it so much, I ordered the natural color. These are two very different hats! The beige is better built with heavier material and a higher crown. Still shaping the natural one to get it to feel right. The beige one has a higher crown whereas the natural touches the top of my head. Can see I'll be wearing the beige as a "dress up" hat whereas the natural will be a work hat. So the natural gets four stars. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Feels a tiny bit small. *by M***S on August 20, 2015* I measured by head, and according to the size chart I'm right at the top of the Large size, so I thought this hat in L/XL would be perfect and it almost is. It is very nice quality, looks like the picture, and looks good on my head, but it feels just a tiny bit small. It might be my curly hair, but I find when I wear low enough so it feels good the dent in the top is pushed out a bit - it doesn't look bad, but it doesn't look as good as it could. I would probably buy another one though.
