Wrapables Japanese Washi Masking Tape Collection, Premium Value Pack (Set of 6) – VPK21

Not a huge fan. Bottom line is I definitely overpaid for this set and probably won't buy any more Wrapables brand washi tapes in the future. (I purchased this set because I really love the flat pack Wrapables mini paper sticker/tape sheets... but turns out their washi rolls need improvement.)The set I chose, VPK21, features birds in 3 of the 6 tapes; had I made that out from the online photos, this slightly ornithophobic chick (pardon the pun) would have opted for a different set. Anyhoo, it's ultimately the quality AND quantity issues, not the birdies, that merit my anemic rating.The tape is marketed as a washi--a moniker that's bandied about far too loosely for any 'craft' tape these days-- but perhaps I'm spoiled to premium Japanese offerings as true washi manages to be both super sticky and super removable/sturdy at the same time. This Wrapables stuff is more of a crepe paper tape that, yes, can re-stick once or twice, but it curls, rips, and splinters far too easily. This kind of quality is something I'd be happy to pay $2 for at Target. But the price point here is inflated........because you get very little on these dinky rolls, you just have to take their word for it that it's 10 meters; I doubt this, as one of my rolls, despite all the tapes being 15mm wide, was larger than the others so I am confident the length varies.A mediocre offering for paper crafting enthusiasts; slash the price and we'll talk. Tho this perhaps is a decent option for those who enjoy muted, less bold, 'art pop' kind of tapes-- as I've noticed this brand features blurry, less defined prints and more sedate palettes.

I initially bought this to use to stick onto my computer keyboard, but it peeled off after about an hour. The tapes are beautiful and I know I'll find another use for it, but I have to give it four stars because I was disappointed that it didn't work for the purpose I initially purchased them for.

I am glad I ordered the chevron style washi tape. I also ordered the floral pattern and those are beautiful as well. The width for my uses are just perfect. Not too wide. Not too thin. These will last me a long time and when I'm done I am pretty sure I will re-order these again. Yes they are a bit pricey but I haven't been able to find anywhere else that offers this many designs.

I am using these rolls for all sorts of projects lol I just love them and the patterns are cute.

Gave these to my granddaughter for Christmas and she was very excited when she got them. She has had a ball with them!

If you are looking for a collection with dark teal, green and navy - this is the set for you!

Really thin but beautfiul.
