Both the lights and the solar panel are adjustable so you can hang this in a variety of places. While it's smaller than I thought it would be, it's very bright! We hung it on our backyard side fence by the gate. It's motion activated so if anyone opens the gate at night they are immediately hit with a very bright light. My husband assembled it without reading the instructions so it took me a minute to figure out how to turn it on...there is a very tiny hole above the motion sensor. It's too small for a toothpick but just big enough for a sewing needle. Poke the needle in that hole to toggle it on or off. One it's on you can leave it in the "on" position. Or you can read the instructions and turn the thing on before you assemble it.

Product arrived on time and in good shape. My interest in getting the light was to ensure my wife and daughter had an extra level of security when coming home after dark.I placed the light over a two car garage and it shines enough light to illuminate the entire area. The motion detector works well. My neighbor installed a similar product that Home Depot sells. He ended up having to install two lights ($19.99 @pc.) to have as much light as I have.Great price and great lighting. I recommend the product

this is actually a pretty good last night. I was actually pretty happy with it. I am having a little bit of a problem with cars passing by and turning it on and off but I'm sure I can get that worked out with just adjusting it and stuff but it's actually pretty bright!! I'm really surprised. my friend walks up from the apartments behind us to our house and sometimes we have critters running around in the backyard and as she walks up the lights kick on one at a time for her so that she can see and it's not blinding but it provides well enough light to see where you're going and what you're doing...they lights are adjustable and can be moved around the solar panel is adjustable as well but the range of motion isn't quite what I was hoping it was so I had to find different ways of mounting it to get it to face the way I needed it too but other than that I'm pretty happy with my purchase!:):):)😄

We bought this item to go to the darkest side of our house, especially with the fact that it claims to have a low dim even before tmactivated by motion. What a disappointment! My husband installed it same day for 4 days, we are now on our 6th day having it installed and nothing. It only comes on when my husband uses his hand to cover the solar panel, this is at 11 pm at night, no moonlight, no other outside light! It would work perfectly inside the shed but once placed at the side of the house-nothing works! No dim, no coming on when we walk pass it nor wave our hands, jumping frantically just to see if it will come on. I was hoping to reach out to the seller to get an idea if anything else can be done but I am not seeing the option to message seller. We have 2 other solar lights we bought a few years ago that works perfectly to the back of the house and the opposite side to where this new one has been placed, and no issues once we open the door or in a few feet of thise, they light up, but this new one is simply not working how it should.

We use this light set on our property. We have left it set up last fall, and since March this year (we did take it down during the winter, since the property is located at 6500ft) and have nothing but good to say about it. We like it so much, that we bought another 2-pack of them. We mounted them on poles hammered into the ground, and had to do a few modifications to get it to mount, but now we just " slip it off" the mounting bracket when we take it down for the winter. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

I have used several security motion lights. I’ve had some of all sorts. I’ve got to say this is hands-down the best light that I purchased this far. It is very bright and lights up very well. And it will keep a dim light on and when it senses motion it gets brought. And you could aim everything and have the areas covered that you need. And the solar charge as well and we have not had a single issue after several months

I had set this light on my truck tire to test it out for a while and of course I forgot it was there when I was in a rush to drive off somewhere. It was mangled. However, I was still able to snap the plastic pieces back into their sockets. And, much to my surprise, it all worked fine afterwards! I now have it wedged between two tree branches facing the hot tub pit I am working on. The flexibility of the solar panel and LED placement is an added bonus to the product. It is well worth the $.

I’ve had these for about a week, and they’ve been working perfectly! I like it that there is only one setting: starts dim, gets bright with motion. A different product I bought was always switching between settings. This one only has one setting and it’s the only setting I want! I also like the flexibility of the solar panel. I mounted one light facing north, then swiveled the panel back to the south to generate enough power for all night operation. Highly recommended!
