Best thickener for fruit pies
My favorite for fruit pies. I always keep stocked up on Minute Tapioca. Can be used for thickening a lot of other things, and making tapioca pudding too.

No more runny pie filling
Good price. I use a few tablespoons to mix in with the berries when I make pies such as strawberry or blueberry. It thickens the filling.

It's the yummy tapioca you grew up with!
It's been surprisingly difficult for me to find tapioca in my local grocery store, so I ordered it from Amazon. The price is a little high, but I got a 3 pack and at least I could get it! It's delicious as a pudding, easy to make, and useful in thickening fruit pies and the like. In short, all you hope for and expect in a box of tapioca. The only reason I removed a star, and this may be a commentary on the vendor or on Amazon, is that it looked like the boxes had been run over by the delivery truck. Tapioca was spilling out of one of them. Other than that, no complaints at all!

Just like mom’s tapioca
A childhood favorite. The fluffy version is the one my mom always made, so that’s the version I make (with beaten egg whites). Ten out of ten, and a definite crowd pleaser in my house.
