As an ex-nurse who now works with dogs once a week, I can say with all honesty how great the relationship between animals and their owners can be. Some uplifting stories in this lovely book and I think the author has achieved the right tone when writing this book.

Great book, especially for Pet lovers and just about anyone in the health care field. Nurses, Social workers and anyone who has a role in caring for Hospice patients it is a must read. Enlightening, funny and sad all in one!!
