Very well formulated and effective.
Three years ago I was using NOW's silica complex. I had a good results and came back to use it. I'd like to continue using it, but as of 6/20/23, it's not available. Are you making it? Please do not stop making this product!!! UPDATE (5/29/24) June 2023 I bought something else because this formulation of NOW silica product was not available, (very sad). In October I went to Japan for 5 and a half months to take care of my aging mother. I came back last month (April). Now I am making my way back to my supplement regimen, and found that this formula is now AVAILABLE!!! So very very happy that NOW has resumed making this one. THANK YOU TAHNK YOU THAN YOU!!!

Misleading… Not the same ingredients as listed on website.
Can’t attest to these because unfortunately, the ingredients that I received are not the matching ingredients that are on the website. Not sure if this is a newer formula or older, but it is not as clean as I thought it was. One of the many concerning ingredients is maltodextrin. That’s worse than sugar.

These are the real deal
These were recommended to me by a coworker for hair and nail growth, and man, do they work! It was almost annoying how fast my nails and hair grew. Annoying because I kept having to get my roots retouched so frequently (and clip my nails constantly). Nearly an inch of hair growth per month, no joke. I didn't notice it making my hair thicker though. Same for my nails, which have always been sort of weak and thin and did not become stronger from this supplement. But this may happen for other people. I would say if you're looking for something that will help speed up hair growth, definitely try this.

This type of Silica may irritate the stomach
My daughter and I started taking these for thinning hair. After a week we both felt nauseous and had stomach pain daily. I don't know why this would happen but it took a couple of weeks to get back to normal. I have not been brave enough to repeat the text yet, but maybe we are sensitive to an ingredient because we both take DE a tsp in water daily with no problem.DE is the best source of Silica. It is not irritating. So I have two bottles of the Silica Complex I cannot use. Can anyone comment on this?
