Great shoe with a very narrow foot bed
I reallllly wanted to keep these shoes but they are just way too narrow in the foot bed. I'm an 11.5 and these fit well in every dimension but my big toe rubbed uncomfortably against the side of the shoe. These seem more designed for people with narrow feet and probably won't work well in hiking scenarios because your feet tend to spread out as you walk.If there was a "wide" version of these I would buy them in a minute. They are stylish, seem to be well made (didn't get to really test them since I immediately returned because of bad fit) and they are lightweight. If you have a narrow fit, these may work very well for you. If you're like me and have a wider than average foot, you should probably look elsewhere.

Head Over Heels (Pun Intended) For These Boots
I’ll be honest that I was skeptical of these, I wondered if they would hold up, if they’d be comfortable enough, if they’re legit waterproof...you get the idea since they have the appearance of more stylish, casual hiking boots. After wearing them every day for an entire week while doing some intense and rough hiking in Iceland I discovered that I love these boots. Not only did they hold up amazingly well but the treads were great for hiking, my feet were NEVER sore after a full day of hiking, they were 100% waterproof (even after literally crossing a river) plus they look awesome at the same time.I highly recommend these well made, stylish boots for anyone!

Very Comfortable Shoes
These are great so far! They are comfortable all day and have kept my feet dry and warm while walking through snow and puddles. They are more narrow than the 2 pair of Merrell's I have, but my narrow feet feel comfortable and secure.Haven't gone hiking in them yet but expect good performance. Will update when I know for sure.Update (05/21/19): So I finally got around to hiking in these. They performed very well. I was carrying my kid in his carrier, 3 liters of water and snacks, which was close to 50lbs, and hiked through sandy trails, muddy grassland, and and a variety of rocky terrain, both wet and dry. They are absolutely water proof, my feet stayed nice and dry. The higher cut gave more ankle support than the Merrell's I normally wear, which was nice with the extra weight. Rocky performance was fine on dry rocks. Wet rocks were tricky and I had a few slips. My friend in his Merrell's didn't have any trouble, but that could also have been all the extra weight. Anyways, by the end of the day my feet still felt comfortable and dry and my shoes still look brand new.

Way too narrow for a Keen wearer
These look cool in the picture and in person, and I really wanted them to fit. I usually wear Keen Targhee hiking boots but decided to try these. They were just too narrow for me, especially in the toe box. Back to clunky Keens for me.

Perfect Mix of Form and Function
As a mechanical engineer, I am almost obsessed with optimization, I am always looking for objects that combine great form and function. These boots fit the bill quite nicely. They are comfortable and look great. They have an average size toe box which is nice since I have narrow feet and a lot of boot manufacturers make unusually wide toe boxes.I got the tan and blue pair, and the only things I would change is make the red brighter, make the "pop laces" red instead of blue, and make them more breathable (mesh tongue maybe?)Thanks for making a great product Forsake! I look forward to seeing your company grow.

Awsome with need for improvements
After wearing Wedge Moc Toe "Thoros" for 25 years these things saved my life. The boot is freaking awsome and super super comfy. Like a skateboard sneaker and hiking boot. Some minor set backs. 1 my foot is average boot in perfectly snug for slightly wide feet and up it will be tight buy wide. 2 quality CONTROL loose strings and glue everywhere. 3 the toe cap feels like super soft cardboard I can anticipate this boot looking like a sock (maybe). 4 the leather although good quality is thin. But extremely thin but on the thinner side. 5 hardware is kinda twisted in some areas.Comfort 150% out of the box. If Forsake can use a thicker toe cap or plastic, get sime quality control from China, pick a slightly better leather I'm sold for life. At 150.00 usd a pop made in china they have room for improvements. Oh amd at this price make them inthe US!100% yes buy these

Perfect all-purpose hiking boot
My wife and I each bought a pair of these for our trip to Europe. They were perfectly comfortable for exploring the old cities I had been several times before and by the end of each day my feet always hurt while wearing athletic shoes. At the end of the day walking on old cobblestone and uneven streets, my feet felt great! We also wandered around some hill and mountain trails and the boots performed perfectly. Now its winter, and I wear them outside shoveling snow. They have been totally waterproof. I'm looking for a reason to buy another pair but these have held up so well I won't need to for a long time.

These things fit great, they feel like super comfortable sneakers but are ...
These things fit great, they feel like super comfortable sneakers but are rugged as boots. Did some light waterproof tests and they held up. I've climbed the Presidential Traverse in New Hampshire in them and I've hiked in the Azores with them and they did the job exceptionally well. My only complaint is that they are prone to skuffs and they lose that new boot look pretty quickly. Still a great looking boot and fits great too. Didn't even need to break them in.
