Much more reliable than Sakura Pigma liners
The packaging came secured with this cute thank you tape. I appreciate the effort to keep it more secure. As far as the pens themselves. I find that I can get a much more consistent line with these than when I use the sakura pens. They also don't feel as dry and are much more comfortable to hold as well. Definitely a better quality overall. I bought these to draw with but writing feels nice too. The nibs feel pretty durable and you can feel the ink smoothly flowing out. The paper used in the image is Neenah Desert Storm 80C Smooth

A couple duds but I prefer over micron
About half were dried out unfortunately, which is why i like to buy these at an art store individually where you can test for duds. I probably just had bad luck The half that work i personally prefer over the micron pens due to the feel of the friction. I think I like the Pitt artist pens from Faber Castell the most, but i dont really see a .5mm pack for them, just a variety pack, so these end up being more economical even with a few duds

Great for “doodling” or “tangling”
I love to doodle and draw “tangles” and these pens are great for this. The .5mm tip are the perfect thickness for me - not super skinny but not a too thick. They draw very smoothly and with the notebooks i use, they do not bleed thru the paper. They also seem to last a long time. I either use these or Micron pens but actually prefer the Staedtler pens a bit more.

My favorite Journaling Pens
The best pigment liner for writing in an archival notebook. Excellent color, clarity, and longevity. Look no further, these work better than the other competitors that I have used (E.g., Micron, etc.). Perfect for simple journaling or scientific research!

Great pens, foul delivery.
The pens arrived in a package that had been soaked is some sort of chemical, maybe turpentine or deer repellent (or worse), not entirely sure but it was foul smelling. I found more chemical soaked packaging unrelated to my order in my trash can, as well as a puddle in my driveway. Once I extracted my items from both the shipping packaging and the manufacturer's packaging and discarded it with the rest already in my trash, the items themselves had survived. The pens write great, with hardly a whiff of the toxic nastiness.

. The ink is dark and doesn’t fade, They are consistent and create solid crisp lines…and the nibs are pretty solid which is great for anyone who’s a bit heavy handed with pressure on the pen. Great for art and lettering😁
