Comfortable and strong - impressed
I own similar chairs from REI and Helinox. I purchased this to have for lending to friends. The Moon Lence is very comfortable and appears to be well made during the month I've owned it. There is good attention to detail and has extra features like the pockets that hang down on either side (Good for... snacks? headlamps? Still figuring that out.)It is somewhat difficult to stretch the fabric over the frame when it is new. Pull loops are provided to help, but children and some adults may have difficulty. The included instructions have good suggestions on how to make it easier.Though the chair is named "Ultralight" and listed as 2lbs, it feels heavier than the standard weight versions from other brands. Its rated weight capacity is also lower, 240lbs vs 320 of the other brands. This wouldn't be the chair I would take on a backpacking trip, but it's perfect for keeping in the car and gets used every week. I'll probably buy another.

Compact and easy to assemble!
We literally use these everywhere we go! Great for camping, sports, fits inside our hiking water backpacks, and even my purse! I love that they are compact and light weight. I’m also a soccer momma and have little ones, so I love that I can just toss it in the stroller without putting so much weight on my back & easily assembles! Definitely Recommend!

Excellent for the price, comparable to REI brand
This chair is awesome! It's lightweight (hugely important for my camping/backpacking trips), packs down small, and feels sturdy. Most of all it is affordable ($32 at time of purchase). I actually looked at the REI flexlite this is quite comparable in terms of weight and build quality - only this Moonlence chair is half the price! When leaning back, I feel confident it won't fall back, unlike most chairs of this form factor. I will say, however, that you have to be careful getting up. You have to hold the chair down with your hands as you get up to prevent tipping forward. I am considering buying another one if this holds up long-term. Overall you can't beat it for the price! Hope to have this for many camping trips ahead.

Good chair but needs some adjustments. To be fair.
Okay for a chair that lasted a little over 1month, I have to say this was a comfortable chair when it lasted BUT I thought it be a bit wider or taller based on the images (my mistake) but the size for me a (5’5 -150Ibs) woman it was good! I just wish there was more booty support or depth to the bottom so I wouldn’t slide, sometimes my shoulder felt boxed in because of this and I would lean to heavily on one side which probably cased the chair bar to pop through (there were no injuries, just a little scare and me landing on the middle support bar completely okay yet disheartened). For a slightly bigger male (5’8- 190ish ) it was okay, but not enough support at all. The chair actually bent inward on the back support bars after my friend sat in it for a few short hours. However, This was not my issue here, I feel this chair could have lasted me much over a few years if it just had pegs on the support bars that slip into the chair pockets or even just larger pockets to slid around the support bars so the small nibs at the end won’t dig and cut into the heavy duty fabric!! I was slowly loving the design of the chair if it wasn’t for these issues, I would like to replace the chair just for if was well suited for me just needs help.

Exactly what I need!
Where has this been my whole life? Perfect size to toss in my dog’s stroller or in my bike basket. I like that it doesn’t sit up too high ... my dog can lay on his blanket & still be within my reach. It’s quite comfortable. I was glad it doesn’t lean back too much. Our city shows the hockey games outside & this will be perfect & much more comfortable than sitting on the ground. My cats love it too, I now need to buy another one, cuz they are fighting over it! LOL.

A great little camping chair!
It's super lightweight, portable, sturdy, and it sets up and breaks down in less than a minute. I bought this thing to provide seating for myself at PAX, and it worked beautifully. The one negative is that there is nothing in the way of upper back or neck support--if you really want to lean back, you'll have to fold your arms behind your head and support your neck manually. But then again, I think that's just an inherent trade-off for a chair this lightweight and small. I got another chair that did have upper back and neck support to see how I liked it, and the result is that the second chair is dramatically larger and heavier. All in all, the Moon Lence remains my go-to.

Good chair...
Seemingly as good as a particular major brand. Seemingly because I have not taken this chair out on the trail yet. I like the size of this chair folded up. It's small and can fit in your bag however, I think I'd prefer to strap it on the outside of my bag for easy access. It's very easy to assemble, it can be done in 30 sec. It's very light I think around 2 pounds, but it would be nice to have it around 1 pound, something the company could shoot for in an update perhaps. Overall, the chair seems very sturdy and can support my weight (200 lbs). One complaint I have is the two front seat poles holding the front of the seat where it supports your legs up can feel flimsy when you move your weight forward on the chair, but it doesn't feel like it would compromise the chairs stability at all, it's just something I feel. All and all I would recommend this chair for camping and hiking it's very comfortable.

Works well - wish there was a place for my arms and head
Good price, does the job and very lightweight. While I relied on public transport/biking, this was my go to chair for the beach, day hikes, camping, park and stoop sitting; Since it' is very portable, it supports all of those tasks well. Only downside is I wish it was a little more comfortable for sitting longer periods of time and that there was a way for my arms and head to be more comfortable in it. It also takes a bit more work to put together. If you have more car, storage space, and can deal with extra bulk when lugging gear you might opt for a bulkier chair that provides greater comfort on beach and when camping. But if portability is your top priority then this works well and price and quality is about as good as it gets.
