I AM BRUCE LEE DVD

This is a very entertaining video. I didn't want it to end. There are other good documentaries out there on Bruce Lee, but it's that this one is different from the others and very well made with all the interviews and stories. It goes with a time line on his life from his youth to his end. I really enjoyed the bonus features. Including his Hollywood audition in full, backyard training from his personal films, inspiration-global impact, a short summary of his action films and theatrical trailer. This dvd is like you were hanging out at a Bruce Lee remembrance get together and everyone was telling their own stories on how he impacted their lives while watching footage on him at the same time. There was a bunch of new footage that I have never seen before and a little that I have on other dvd's. It's motivating and inspirational. The quality, color and sound is great.

Love this documentary, though I wonder how some of the people were selected for their comments. Nevertheless, this is a great addition to my collection of Bruce Lee documentaries.

My hubby enjoyed this dvd for his Christmas gift! We didn’t appreciate the foul words or phrases from time to time of the film buuuuut considering the content isn’t exactly about a little girls cup of tea, wasn’t surprised either. Maybe bleeping out the words would have helped but... on ANY note. Excellent excellent doc and bio on Bruce Lee!

I’m so glad I purchased this dvd! It has great film footage and interviews about the great Bruce Lee. It gives a lot of insight into how he developed his fighting method. I think it’s a great buy for Bruce Lee fans!

I've been a Bruce Lee Fan for over 35 years, his influence leading me to over 30 years of martial arts practice. This documentary is probably the best I've ever seen. It's thoughtful, without the overreliance on sensational theories about his death, and explains the lasting value of his philosophical approach to martial arts, and life. The interviews with some of today's celebrities and athletes provides us with a sense of how much influence he really had over the years. Definitely worth buying! I bought it almost immediately upon it being available, because it was not shown enough on TNT!

Love this movie! With the exception of one or two of the commentators "thoughts," this was an insightful and eye opening look into Bruce's life. I discovered some things I had not known before and I was impressed with the vintage footage. Bruce's legacy lives on, and this is a must have for anyone who has been influenced by Bruce Lee.

I am a Sifu of JKDC myself and hold black belts in chinese goju and tae kwon do but Sifu Bruce Lee Has always been in my mind I first saw him when I was 10 years of age the Sifu Bruce Lee Passed Away on the TV I saw him for the first time and told my father that I wanted to do that. as for this very well put together film in which I have many I enjoyed it so very much thank you for all the work that went into this and for amazon to have this I have been looking for it awhile Thank you Sifu Benny Carter

Watched this back to back with Bruce Lee a Warriors Journey and they were both worth while Bruce docs that shine a light on this most interesting man! Can be bought cheaply - so if interested dive in!

本当は映画館で観たかったのですが、どうしても行けなくてDVDがでるのを待ってました。ブルースリーに関するものは、彼の映画を抜かして ドキュメンタリーものとして、いろいろな視点からの作品がかなりたくさんでています。しかしその大半がVHSですから、劣化してしまうのですね。 今、時間をみては、デジタル変換をしています。しかしブルースリーは、何年、経っても色あせない！ 今の若い人たちが新たに彼のファンに なっていますね。彼に影響をされて人生が変わった人も世界中にたくさんいますね。そんなブルースリーをまた新たな角度から構築し出来 上がったのが、この作品です。とにかく観てください。特典映像もあります。値段もお手ごろなので、ふところにも優しいです。没後４０年経過し ても、人々を魅了し続けてます。これからもずっとそうでしょう。

Parmi les innombrables documentaires sur cet athlète hors norme, celui-ci s'adresse d'abord aux fans ayant admiré Bruce Lee pour ses prestations physiques au cinéma. Dans ce document défilent plusieurs participants du monde des arts, du cinéma (Mickey Rourke), de la musique ou du sport qui partagent le même enthousiasme lorsqu'il s'agit d'évoquer l'impact de Lee sur leurs vies, ou leurs œuvres. On note bien entendu la présence des proches tel Linda Lee sa femme, ou de sa fille Shannon. On a les points de vue des experts comme l'inévitable Dan Inosanto. Et des auteurs plus ou moins connu tel le Dr. Paul Bowman et l'historien David Tadman. On y parle évidemment de Ip Man. Y a beaucoup de "man" me direz-vous, dans ce film! ;-) Mais certains n'y sont pas présents: le frère de Bruce... ou bien l'un des plus réputés biographes du petit dragon, John Little. Ce dernier ayant réalisé des documentaires et des livres riches en images rares. Pour ne citer que deux programmes vidéos parmi les meilleurs de Little, il y a d'abord le fameux "Bruce Lee - A Warrior's Journey" et ensuite "Bruce Lee: Tracking The Dragon". D'une certaine façon,"I Am Bruce Lee" de Pete McCormack complète à merveille les films de Little, de par les commentaires des admirateurs plus récents du petit dragon dont l'influence est encore vive aujourd'hui. DVD ALL (Pal) français avec pistes audio français et anglais stf. Quelques bonus: galerie photos et des bandes annonces dont "I Am Van Damme".

Un regale ce documentaire ! En tant que fan et Collectionneur Après avoir vu pas mal de documentaire sur Bruce Lee celui ci nous dévoile les details les plus intimes sur sa vie raconté par ses élèves et amis comme Dan Inosanto et d'autres... Linda Lee sa femme et sa fille Shannon nous racontent comment il se comporté dans la vie, Sa science du JEET KUN DO et son approche des arts martiaux .. Il faut savoir que Bruce Lee à beaucoup influencé par son art et son savoir faire du kung-fu, tout le monde doit connaitre et apprendre de son histoire et du personnage qui est Bruce Lee ! Malheureusement son court passage dans la vie changa totalement les arts martiaux son décès inexpliqué en 1973 à fait de lui une légende à part entière.. Il à aussi influencé pas mal d'extert en arts martiaux et d'autres... IL RESTE LE PLUS GRAND MAITRE DE TOUS LES TEMPS

Le meilleur documentaire à ce jour sur Bruce lee. À recommander au fan et tout ceux qui veulent découvrir cet icône des arts martiaux. Je conseille ce revendeur, le dvd livre dans emballage soigné avant la date prévu.
