I bought a laser toy somewhat like this a couple of weeks ago. Our cat loves to chase the laser spot from a pointer and I decided to go with something that didn't need hands-on to amuse the cat. The 1st one I got wasn't suitable. Our cat likes to stare at the spot for a bit before pouncing. The original toy would only stay in 1 spot for about a second, them move very rapidly to a new location. Our cat would lose track of the spot and sometimes find it again when it came by but the motion was just too fast. I returned it and saw this one on Amazon. The spot motion is ideal for our cat. It stays in one location for several seconds, then, running the slower of the 2 speeds, moves away but the cat can see where it has gone and she chases it. She loves this one and so do I.

The media could not be loaded.  I have a high energy cat that gets into a good bit of trouble and loves to play. I find that he nips at my ankles if he’s hangry, even though he knows his feeding times are 8am and 6pm every day. Fortunately for me, this toy distracts him and tires him out enough to curb this behavior. We’ve had it for 3 days and he will play with it at least twice a day. Sometimes I’ll turn it on and he won’t bother- not sure if he’s bored or tired, but one thing is for sure: this thing tires him out! So fun to watch him let out all his pent up energy. One issue I have is that I have to tilt it and prop it up on something in order for it to hit the floor at an angle. Kinda annoying but for the amount of relief it is providing me, I really couldn’t care less. Note that it doesn’t come with batteries! Also, it’s a little flimsy but I dropped it accidentally from a considerable height and it worked just fine after I reassembled it.

I live in an apartment with two 6-year-old cats possessing VERY different temperaments.One is very high-energy and constantly in need of stimulation and attention. The other is a total couch-potato, only gets out of bed to look out the window or eat dinner. They don't get along particularly well.Anyway, this toy has completely exceeded my expectations! Both cats absolutely love it! I've had it for about a month and they still play with it every night (the first few days it was practically non-stop). They usually don't hang out together at all (amicably), so it's amazing to see them play with this thing at the same time. The great unifier!They both absolutely love it, and it's been a huge relief to see them getting exercise (I know how awful feline obesity can be for their health down the line, so it's really important to me that they're healthy). I think the couch-potato has even lost some weight (she seems a lot more lively in general too).TBH I think this product has made my cats more active than most outdoor cats. If you have an obese cat, this is the product for you!I know I'm going on and on, but I'm a cat person and my cats have been so happy since I got this! Every time I walk into the kitchen, the hyperactive one yowls for me to turn it on, and they both play with it for hours. The 15-minute intervals and speed options are great.ANYWAY, JUST BUY THIS! I PROMISE YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT!!!

I love this product. I have been wanting to get one of these for my cat and I’m glad that I made this purchase. The construction is well made and not like the other cheap plastic cat toys. I also love that you can use batteries and option to plug it in to a 5V micro usb For power supply. I just plug mine into my rechargeable powerbank and I can let my cat play longer without needing to buy batteries. The laser quality is best with low light but it is still visible during daylight.I advise to place a cup coaster under the unit when you place it on a wooden table to dampen and minimize vibration and the humming sound the motor makes because my cat is curious of where the humming noise is from and gets distracted

The media could not be loaded.  One of my cats LOVES this thing. She always loved chasing laser pointers, and now it’s automatic. She’s getting a little extra fluffy and needs to lose a pound or two. She gets tired quickly when I exercise her in the morning and evenings but she’s missing good activity time when I’m not home. I love how this turns on every 90 mins so I know she’s getting up and moving even when I’m not there! We’ll see if it helps her drop any weight by the next time we go to the vet, but I think she’s doing great! My other cat never went that crazy for laser pointers, so he will occasionally play with this one, but he’s a healthy weight anyway. The cord is kinda cheap and has already split at the end, but it’s a standard USB cord and easy to replace.

Got it in one day. I work 12 hour shifts and my black lab is only a year old. I put it on and within five minutes of running around chasing it, with my other dog chasing her, both dogs were worn out and tails were wagging. I’m going to buy another one for upstairs. Runs 15 minutes every hour and a half if you choose to do it that way. Which is exactly what my dogs need during the day. Great value for the money and maybe my house won’t be torn up from boredom anymore.

I’m pretty busy working 5 days a week which doesnt leave me a lot of time that I can spend having fun with my kitties. This toy does a great job keeping them active and gives me much joy watching them play with it. It sends out a red flashing dot periodically and attracts my cats towards it. I really love this product.

Got this today took it out of the packaging and plugged it into our usb outlet set it on the table and that was pretty much it! I started with the #2 auto mode, #1 circles and my cat was in heaven!!! Usually we end up playing with him for 20 minutes or so with a laser so he knew exactly what it was and he was soon running, jumping and having a great time! Best of all it turned itself off after a reasonable amount of time and came back on just when my kitty came looking for some fun again!I am really happy that I dont have to keep getting finger cramps from pushing a button on a tiny laser and trying to keep the cat amused. This is a fantastic toy for me and my kitty!!

It worked great but after the battery died it stopped working. It doesn’t hold a charge. Really annoyed as the initial charge lasted quite long, maybe two months but stopped working after it, which means it’s not longer eligible for a refund! Didn’t expect this, as the toy is quite expensive for a cat toy! Money wasted, cat disappointed and she still stares at a non working laser toy.

Its ok but I expected it to gon360 degrees all the way around, not in front of it. It needs to be high up to work properly. Cats prefer the laser pen.
