Staub Silicone with Wood Handle Cooking Utensil, Multi-function Spatula Spoon

This Staub multi-use spoon has quickly become one of my favorite kitchen utensils. This utensil has become one of my favorites in the kitchen because it combines the functionality of a spoon and a spatula in one tool. It’s sturdy enough to handle all types of food and the wooden handle has a really nice feel in your hand. I find myself reaching for it more often than expected because it works for both cooking and serving. I’ve actually given a couple of these to friends as gifts as well... it’s one of those simple tools that ends up being surprisingly useful.

Love this spatula! It’s my go to utensil! Washes well in my dishwasher, it’s well made! It flips food well and also crumbles hamburger meat etc really well without having to dirty my food chopper!

I’m in LOVE with this utensil. I’ve NOT liked other wood products or handles made of wood because they stain or retain water after cleaning. Retention of any form within wood holds bacteria and etc. that can be easily transferred to other food items. Being a surgery nurse, bacterial transfer grosses ME OUT! I know what an happen when the body is infected with strange bacteria/fungi etc. I’ve been a Staub aficionado for years. I’ve been accumulating their casserole pan (assorted sizes), Dutch ovens, croquettes and now their utensils. Best products available at similar prices comparable to equivalents with other companies. They’re the ONLY company I’ve found that has a black enamel inside their croquettes that makes better casserole cooking and crusty edges. They make quality products to endure a lifetime of use. I would transfer ALL my household wares to Staub if I could afford to.

I was reserved as I originally bought this as I have seen a lot of very bad and sad multi-function kitchen tools over the years. I read the reviews and because I was in need of a good solid silicone kitchen spatula/turner, I figured I would give this a chance. I have used it for 3 days now and it exceeds expectations. It serves its primary purpose as a spatula/turner (it is a bit more firm so it is perfect for a turner for using in a skillet) and the scooped inside works great for scooping potatoes or other stuff in a pan that you wish to scoop out or mix. The wooden handle is solid and really beautiful. This is going to be hand washed to preserve the handle but that is fine (I don't put wood in the dishwasher) as I have a few wooden utensils that I always hand wash anyway and they have lasted and the inconvenience is negligible. I recommend this to anyone looking for a kitchen tool that is perfect for both non-stick and for stainless or other pans. I also used it to mix some pancake mix together in a bowl and it worked well at that too with a whisk being the only better tool at that particular job. Price is high for just this one tool, but factor in it will replace or compliment 3 other tools in your kitchen and works on a variety of pans. Recommend!!

Really convenient, multifunction shape. Purchased this to use with my Staub Cast Iron Essential French Oven and other non-stick cookware. It's sturdy, comfortable to use, easy to clean and has an interesting shape.

This works beautifully with my wok. I use it to make stir fry, fried rice. You don't need to switch to another utensil to scope the rice out, one tool does it all. It is also very well made, very sturdy, easy to clean, feels good in your hand. I just got another one for my son.

This is nothing like anything I've owned before and it's my new favourite utensil. A great alrounder that anybody who loves to cook should own.
