LEGO76897 Speed Champions Audi Sport quattro S1 Racer Toy, with Racing Driver Minifigure, Race Cars Building Sets

It seems odd for me to say this, but I haven't bought a new Lego set in over a year. I've got hundreds of Star Wars and Creator sets dotted about the house, but I'd fallen a little bit out of love of late. Expensive and quite repetitive, certainly in the Star Wars line.However, this Group B Audi Quattro S1 brought me right back in a heartbeat. It's wonderful. I really enjoyed building it, and the angular lines of Lego lend themselves to a boxy 1980's car such as this. It was relatively modestly priced too. My only grip is a common one with the Speed series, and that's that there are a lot of stickers to apply.I'd implore Lego to add a few more Group B rally cars to their Speed series. I'd love to line my Audi up alongside a MG Metro 6R4, Peugeot 205 T16, Lancia Delta S4 and a Ford RS200. Go on Lego, you know you want to.

One of the new 2020 issue Lego Speed Champions sets; set 76897 1985 Audi Sport Quattro S1. Nice build, got this one as it became available next day on Prime (rather than wait 1 to 3 weeks when it was first released). Lego build quality is great, everything fits perfect & it looks nice when it's built. It looks similar to the picture of the real car on the box, but missing some of the details from the real car, that Lego could have have included in the form of more stickers.

Lego came on time, no damage to the box and all pieces were there. Great addition to the collection.

As described, cannot fault

A great kit. The boxy 80s design of the Audi lends itself well to the Lego format so you end up with a pretty good likeness of the car itself. The build isn’t taxing but it’s engaging enough to eat up some time for adults and children alike. Another bonus is it’s price, this is really good value by Lego’s standards and the main reason why I took a punt, favouring over the horrendously overpriced Star Wars range.

Good quality, built with no issues whatsoever. All parts were there and I assembled the car in no time. Great present and accurate description!

An amazing product, got thia as a gift for my partnwr as he loves lego and Forza Horizon. When i saw this card i couodnt resist it for him, when my partner opened the gift and he saw this he started to make it straight away all the parts were there and they even tage a lot of spares which again was an amazing idea incase you lost any. Once hed build it which didnt take very long as the instructions were very clear and easy to follow he displayed it onnhis shelf. Definitely recommended for car/lego lovers. Will buy again.

I'm 34 stuck in lock down and board to tears I saw this and had to have it main reason of buying is because this eara of cars were square so lego versions still look like the real car the Audi is a monster of the past I could only dream of them still making cars like this great big of kit well made looks a treat very happy f40 next for me
