The Celtic Croft Rustic Wood Handled Sgian Dubh (Brown Sheath)

Nice Sgian Dubh
Very understated and I like that. Fit and finish is good, the brass flows into the wood grip, stainless steel blade is nicely machined polished, and the sheath embossed and very flat fitting nicely in the top of the hose. No markings of any company or country of origin. Not sharp but still would not want to be stabbed by it.Came direct from The Celtic Croft and the same Sgian Dubh is $5 less in their enclosed catalog.

Nice looking piece.
Nice piece. not a true Sgian Dubh as it's sharp on both edges it's a dirk. The highlanders carried dirks for self defense so that's fine. I have a Sgian Dubh that my father made when he was with the Essex Scottish Regiment Canadian Guard pre WW2. It's in pretty good shape for it's age and use but the sheath is long gone. Do you sell sheaths?

Nice budget sgian dubh
Love the wood handled sgian dubh.Fit between wood and metal is clean and tight. The blade can be sharpened but is very slender which may be prone to break.Care should be taken with usage other than wearing with your favourite kilt.I recommend this sgian dubh for any kilted occasion, although not formal.I would not hesitate to purchase this sgian dubh from The Celtic Croft again!

As advertised
Nice knife. Not precise fit and finish but that's what I was looking for. I wanted something that looked rustic and village made. Also trying to buy non-chinese made stuff and support small business. Very happy.
