What is track radius size? 11.25"?

No it is 12" this set comes with a 24" circular track using Bachmanns EZ Track. However, 11.25 and 12 is really the same. So if you are using EZ Track you can add more track and expand your layout. That is what I did.

Does this set have/produce steam while operating?

There are no N scale trains that produce steam or what they call smoke. From sad experience any train in HO, N, or Z I would NEVER use a smoker unit because they burnout with the first use. The only trains that can use smoke are Brass HO or a metal based O scale built to smoke. If you want a smoking train for around the Christmas Tree Go with Lionel O gauge with a metal smoke unit.

How do i turn on the light ?

there is no light on the train. the only light i know about is on the control box when you plug it in

what tracks do I need to make an oval?

The track that comes with the set makes a circle. For an oval you would need at least two pieces of straight track.
