Longview (LVT-1800) Towing Mirror

I should have purchased these years ago. I've had a highwall pop up trailer for years which doesn't allow you to see over it, being so tall. I just dealt with it and used a backup camera mounted on the rear of the camper. Recently, I got a 35' long travel trailer and decided I really needed to be able to see down the sides of the trailer. These mirrors are a vast improvement. The driver's side mirror is perfect and allows me easy sighting all down the length of the trailer. The passenger's side mirror is just far enough away and a bit too small at that distance to be as useful as the driver's side. It is still very helpful, but just doesn't give me as much visibility. They are easy to put on and take off. I will be figuring out some way to insulate the painted portions of my mirrors where the mirrors make contact. I knew that on the 2,500 mile trip through dusty and bumpy roads that I would probably lose some paint. It wasn't bad but there are some surface abrasions. I think a bit of shelf contact paper on the paint next time will alleviate that. Overall, I'm very pleased with the mirrors and will continue to use them whenever towing.

Perfect fit for 2022 chevy pickup mirrors...nice tight fit no rattle and no obstructions for lights and cameras within the mirror.

Pretty decent product. I got them for use while towing a camper. They do help see around the camper better.

Bought these for pulling a 24 ft Travel Trailer with a 2014 Chevy Silverado 1500. Went on a 4000 mile trip and had no issues. Very little vibration. On the driver side I was able to line up the mirror with the factory mirror so it appeared as a continuous view. I tried to adjust the passenger side to do the same but was not able to because the factory mirror is not flat (Warning that vehicles are closer then they appear). So it takes some adjustment to check both mirrors on the passenger side.

I was excited to get these and they pop right on the OEM mirrors. Once on I discovered that the hooks are 6" long and they need to be around 5". Their instructions also indicate installation instructions are on their website but there are no links to any instructional videos. I found some on etrailer.com. They don't have a phone to answer and refer you to [email protected] I am disappointed as I wanted to use them for an upcoming trip. If I don't hear back in a couple days they will be returned. Seems odd that they can't get it right on one of the most common vehicles on the road.

There are two models of mirrors that fit the 2019 Silverado. Make sure you get the right one. I didn’t and had to return. After getting the correct one I am more than happy with these mirrors. No vibration, easy to install and take off.

I purchased these for my 2017 GMC Sierra 1500. They fit on the mirror but the hook is took long. You run out of threads so it won't tighten on mirror. I have contacted customer service but no response yet.

The Longview Towing mirrors for my 2015 Chevy Silverado 1500 was a perfect add on when towing. The standard Chevy truck mirrors only allowed a vision of either side of the camper front end. With the Longview mirrors I could see all the way to the rear and have perfect vision when watching for vehicles. They were especially important when backing into camping spots and down my driveway. Simple clip connection as it slips on and tightens in seconds with no vibrations at all. This was a 5 star purchase!
