The Full Moon at the Napping House Hardcover – Picture Book, September 1, 2015

I bought this for my granddaughter and she loves it. It's fun and funny. She anticipates what's coming and enjoys it very time. The illustrations are amazing, and the story is wonderful. She was 15 months at first.

I love reading this book last when reading to my grandchildren who range in age from 9 months to 3 1/2, before naps or sleeping at night. The rhythm slows down as it goes along and I moderate my tone but keep the cadence. Sometimes I read it twice as the last book. The grandchildren start yawning and quietly say good night as I tuck them in. The pictures are marvelous and the repetition is addictive. Beautiful book. I highly recommend this book and buy it for all little ones.

This is the second book about the Napping house, the grandkids very favorite, wonderful illustrations, easy to read and they want to hear it over and over again. Check out King Bidgoods Bathtub by the same author, unbelievably quirky and fantastical.

It is just a beautiful book to read and have fun with with your child or children. They love the colors and story line.

My grandson caught on quickly to the repetitive lines in the book and was able to fill in the ends of the sentences as I read it to him. This book is a wonderful way to teach vocabulary and new words to young readers and language learners. I’ve always loved The Napping House and was thrilled to find this book which is a wonderful companion book to The Napping House. Since I’m a speech/language pathologist, I realize the importance of children’s literature and books in language development for young learners. The pictures and repetitive lines in this story can be used to teach various language concepts. Great book!

I love the original so much and was disappointed the editor missed the reference to boy instead of child ruining the repetition that was the entire books value.

I love the Napping House and love the twist in this book. I can’t wait to read to my class.
