Florida Coast RB15001 Classic Canvas Rigger Bag, Large

Was looking for a bag to put together a gardening back for the wife. There were a great many options in a great many patterns at a great many prices. I finally chose this plain canvas rigger back instead, and couldn't be happier with the choice. There were a lot of fancier looking bags. Colors, patterns, etc. But all of them either cost twice as much as this bag, were made of thin, crummy material, or both. I didn't see a single colored / patterned bag that looked like it would hold up in actual use or wasn't vastly overpriced. This bag also has many many more pockets than the fancier looking bags. This bag will last for years and years. This bag didn't come pre-packaged with a bunch of throw-away garbage garden tools, and saved me enough cash to be put towards filling it with high quality garden tools, so I ended up with an awesome gift that will last for years. Only con is that I didn't buy one of these for a tool bag of my own... yet.

i was astonished at how well made this bag is and how heavy the material. I do knotting and cordwork and this is perfect with two layers of stiff pockets that grip securely. It's a bit smaller than most tool totes and I have no idea how to keep white cotton canvas clean.

Had my bag of hand tools stolen and needed to purchase new tools and new bag. This LOOKED like my old bag. This bag is too small for my real hand tools. I’m a painter, and this is far and away the best carrier i’ve ever found for paints, brushes and all the small gear an artist hauls around. Sturdy, beautifully made and well designed. I’ve got two and will be ordering another — it makes a great traveling tool bag for the boat.

Bought this to use for a watercolor class that will be moving from location to location. Very sturdy. Love all the pockets. I was a bit disappointed that it didn't come with a shoulder strap especially since one picture I saw showed it with a strap but I can sew. If I feel it needs one after using it on location I will add one later.

Perfect carryall for a knitter! I have all my tools, crochet needles, knitting needles and current project in one sturdy, handy bag by Harbor Freight. This is the same set up in same canvas that stands open on its own. Love mine so much am giving this to an avid knitter friend who loved it. (So much less $$$ than typical knitting project bags, too.)

I'm a rigger. I also do electrical and electronics work on yachts. I've had one of these for 4 years and use it daily. It carries enough basic hand tools I can do maybe 75% of my work with what I carry in it. The one I have isn't worn out so much as the stitching at the bottom of the outer pockets is starting to wear out. I'm giving my new one to a sailmaker friend to reinforce that stitching before I start using it. Once I move into the new one I'll have him do the same to the old one and I'm sure I'll get many more years out of it. For a casual user this thing will last forever. Mine has just led a very rough life.

Superbly made, solid, reminds me of a bygone time when you got what you paid for and you were proud to hand things down from one generation to the next. I currently use it to store all my sewing, knitting, painting, art supplies. Scissors, brushes, measuring tapes, needles, buttons, etc etc, possibilities are endless. Would be excellent for any painter, crafter, electrician, plumber, or OCD person, or anyone who wants to give a writer an unusual gift filled with pens, notebooks, pencils, bookmarks, erasers, reading glasses, inspirational ideas are spawned by this design.
