This mushroom hose guide first of all is so cute! It looks like a mushroom! It comes in 3 pieces in the small box. It required the top of the mushroom to screw in to the bottom half. It’s easy to screw in and the threads have all matched up. It seems to be made well and is durable.I thought $25 was a steep price for the guide initially, but it works so well, it’s aesthetically pleasing, it fits in the ground in a small area, I’ve bought a handful of these to put around my property. The mushroom is tall enough so it catches my hose every time! My hose glides around it and it makes watering outside so much easier when I turn the corners. I would highly recommend!

I’m going to buy a couple more. They are cast aluminum. They seem pretty sturdy so I’m hoping they last a few years. Only down side I can see atm is the paint is already chipping off. Not a huge deal breaker for me. Hoping they will get a natural patina.

My mom was a gardener and I became a gardener. I love these mushrooms. The first ones I bought (2 yrs ago) were cast iron and super heavy. I just bought 2 more March 2017 and they are now aluminum. Same look and same finish. I like the mushroom cap to keep the hose from pulling over the top and they are adorable. In fact I also purchased 2 for my mom, April 2017 and she loved them.They are a winner.It's one year later and I need to add that the first mushrooms I purchased were cast iron, the second order was cast aluminum and the tops popped off of them right away with basic use. The purpose of the shroom was to hold the hose in place. I loved them so much I went to my welder, I buy vintage outdoor furniture and he repair welds spots for me, and he secured the tops, but that added another $10 to each mushroom. It was worth it to me because I like the look so much.Nice to know the truth about what you are buying.

Seems very sturdy. I like how long the stake is because I'm sure it will be strong and immovable when I use the hose in my garden. Cute mushroom.

They are cute and seem to be doing the job even though they sent me one post that didn’t have a spike. Hoping it holds. The paint was already chipping but like one reviewer said, it gives it patina. Not a deal breaker.
