The only thing cooler than Wikki Stix... are SUPER Wikki Stix! This package includes dozens of colorful wax-covered "sticks", each measuring three feet long! By comparison, the "regular" Wikki Stix measure about a foot long each. The sticks (actually stiff, wax-covered strings) are easy to bend and mold, and will stick to one another. Children ages 2 1/2 to 5 will play with them enthusiastically, but are somewhat limited in their ability to visualize and construct in a 3-dimensional manner. Slightly older kids (kindergarten and beyond) will use them to sculpt animals and characters, create jewelry, and more. Preteens and teens are magnetically drawn to them, as well, despite their best efforts to act indifferent. These would even be fun to liven up adult workshops and meetings. I've used them in many different settings, and have never met anyone who did not enjoy playing with Wikki Stix. Wikki Stix are quiet, pleasant smelling and practically mess-free, though they can leave slight waxy smudges on tabletops and other hard surfaces. The sticks can be resused over and over again, as long as they are treated fairly gently. They do not dry out, but can pick up lint and dust if dropped on the floor. These come packed in a sturdy, capped tube that makes an attractive gift and can be used to store the product.

Most wicked sticks are sold in shorter length. These are fantastic and the length makes them versatile for so many different situations and creations.

I love Wiki Stix as a tactile art material for people with disabilities and elderly adults. Itis very sticky and sticks to just about anything. The long ones are perfect for my favorite project: decorating a vase.

I bought multiples of these to have on hand for birthday gifts -I love them. They a an excellent way to let kids be creative without a mess. They are also a good choice for a wide age range of kids - which is why I especially love to gift them to families with multiple children. My mom worked at an elementary school for 20+ years and they used them as a tactile teaching tool. They sell cards (or you could make your own) with letters, etc. for the child to "build" the letter.

Bought these as a last minute stocking stuffer for our kids, and they turned out to be a big hit. Our kids have focused so far on making 2D items on paper, but are excited to try some of the 3D designs on the manufacture website. I like that these do not require glue or any other supplies. Plus they aren’t messy, so no clean up involved after use!

I originally got these to use with my five year old son to help him with letter and number recognition. I got a set of the letter and number cards, and was going to have him use these WikkiStix to construct each letter or number over the top of the flashcard. My son had zero interest in doing that, but he was extremely interested in building pretty much anything else with them. I've seen him and his sister make some things with these I would've never imagined. So, definitely high points for encouraging creativity! I've had them for many weeks, and they're still building all sorts of things with them. That said, there are a couple of downsides. One is the cost. I think these are a bit pricey for what they are. The second downside is the fact that hair and lint sticks to these very easily. It usually can be picked off fairly easily, but still, it's a little gross. So, definitely not five stars. But, I think the pros outweigh the cons for these.
