Here's the thing... Possibly TMI, for the squeamish
... I have a wonky big toe nail on my left foot that has been slammed, smacked, and run over in the plant where I worked for 25 years SO MANY TIMES it even fell off once (🤢, stay tuned). My podiatrist and I were working hard to save it because, who wants to have a missing big toenail? Probably a decade ago I bought a pair of these sandals at a big box shoe "warehouse" and wore them only as house shoes because they looked too long in front. I can't recall the size but they FELT great. YEARS later, by the time they were practically falling off my feet I decided I would try and see if Teva still made these. I found them here so I took a chance and bought two size tens, my actual size. My too-long old one's extended quite a bit beyond my toes but I actually liked the extra length INSIDE my obstacle course of a house because I never once stubbed my toe. Any time I might have, the front of the sandal always took the punishment, protecting my toes (especially the toe nail I was trying to save). So the two size tens arrived - and they fit perfectly. Perfect for OUTSIDE. I had an awful sense of foreboding, though. Looking back, I WISH I had immediately bought a third pair in size 11, never wearing the 10s around the house. Always pay attention to that strange sense of foreboding, folks. Sure enough, I was wearing one of my 10s while replacing a trash can liner last week, I had the EMPTY plastic can tilted, it slipped, and went, WHAM!, right into the edge of my wonky big toenail. It hurt si much I knew immediately what it meant. In no time, there was blood everywhere. I wasn't able to get in to see my podiatrist for two days. She removed most of the nail and used a special surgical tape to keep the part closest to the cuticle stable. I was warned I would likely lose the nail entirely, however, which I figured because I had seen it lift. I had to replace the tape a few days ago and, predictably, the remaining nail lifted again. It WILL detach completely and, within 12-16 months it will have either grown back or not. Nobody knows. Oh well, not my first ride on this ferris wheel. But I've been kicking myself (insert obvious joke of your choice) for not keeping the two pairs of size 10s in this sandal for strictly outside wear, and buying a third pair of 11s for strcitly INSIDE. Honestly, the fronts of the old pair saved me from more toe pain than I could ever count. I stubbed those sandals constantly, but thanks to the oversized fronts, never once stubbed my actual toes in my house, not even with fast vacuuming, which I do A LOT!The point to all this, Ladies is size DOES matter (😮)! If you plan on wearing these sandals while doing housework, I'd recommend protecting your toes. Size UP for indoors. Your toes will thank you.

They are worth it!
This is a very honest review. I had sandles I needed to replace. I bought them back in 2014. Yep almost 10 years. The soles are practically gone. So it was time. I saw these and thought these are almost like the ones I bought so I’ll buy them. I first was afraid to just put them on and where because I fell and hurt my knee real bad 3 weeks ago. Well today was the opening of the state fair and there was a scavenger hunt. I decided I’d wear them here. I knew I was taking a chance but this fair is the best place. So we zigged and zaggged and ran walked everywhere looking for the list. We are waiting for results now. As you can see I put over 5 miles on these babies today. My feet do not hurt other then the problem I have after that nasty fall. They didn’t make the knee or ankle worse. There is swelling just using that injured leg which is normal with any show. I’m glad I bought them and I hinted for my daughter to by the pretty pastel ones. If not they are on my list….

Better than competitor’s version!
This is my third purchase of Teva sandals for myself. I bought a loved one a pair also, all via Amazon. Prior to Teva, I trialed two other top brands of very similar design. Both of those brands konked out significantly sooner than my Tevas. Having put them all to the test (daily wear, everyday, all day year round including city sidewalking and occasional jogs of 3-6 miles/day) I will report the Teva brand sandals are far superior in durability. I wear these EVERYDAY (warm weather climate here in So Cali- yes, I’ve Teva tan lines on my feet tops 🙂) and I have had no issues with stitching, gluing, or other matters reflective of shoddy assembly (can’t say I had similar success with other competitor brands). The fit has been consistent and delivery always timely. I replaced my last pair after 13 months of HEAVY use (as in prior pairs, I wore a hole thru bottom of sole of the sandal ☺️). Great shoe and if you watch the item closely, your favorite colors will price down/go on sale at times.Enjoy your Tevas and happy trails ahead!

Best Water Sandal
Teva brand has been my favorite for water sandals since the '90's and this style is the best out of all the different brands/styles that I tried over the years. I use them for hiking and fishing and they hold up well under conditions like trekking over slippery rocks, or balancing on uneven surfaces while throwing lures. They grip enough to catch you from slipping but not so much that it takes some strength and finesse to un-suction your shoe from a rock, so you don't go flying because you lost your balance while trying to un-suction your water sandal from a rock (yes, that happened with a different sandal). I'm standing for long periods of time and this shoe offers outstanding support, all day long. No more tired, aching feet at the end of the day. As water sandals go, this one is made well (not as well as back in the 90's, like everything else) and they are cute, as water sandals go. My first pair was celery green and lasted 10 years until the vacuum cleaner ate one. I've worn 7 through 8 in Teva's and even though the 7 was a bit small, and the 8 a tad big, I can still wear 7, 7.5, and 8 comfortably. My only complaint is that there is not enough Velcro in the upper straps so I can't tighten them as much as I need to. My last pair, that I did not buy on Amazon, was the same. Not sure what the problem is but to remedy it, I added more Velcro. It works but doesn't last so, you have to keep changing it. But it's important to be able to tighten your sandal enough so it stays on your foot, right? I would have returned mine but had worn them once before realizing I had a problem. The four stars I gave this product would easily have been five stars, if there was just more Velcro.

Surprisingly good sandals
I know these sandals get good reviews mostly but the ones who gave poor reviews mentioned high ankle strap and size issues amongst others. However as someone who has bunions but narrow ankles and being 70 years, which means thinner pads on feet and thinning skin on ankles, I didn’t think I’d find synthetic sandals comfortable but to my surprise they work for me. There was no rubbing from the ankle straps, the Velcro works well to support the feet and best of all they hide my deformity. I bought the dark blue pair and went up half a size which fits perfectly. No rubbing anywhere though I’ve yet to test them hiking. I will be wearing merino wool socks for walks of 25km which may look awful but it works. Otherwise I can wear them without socks around town and for shorter walks. They are a firm tread but that’s a good thing on hard pavements. Very relieved I choose these out of all the Teva choices.

Fully adjustable!
Super comfy shock absorbing sandals for walking on beach, park, woodland, hills or city pavement. Every strap adjusts so you can configure the fit to your own unique foot shape and width. I sized up from a 6 to a 7, think the 6 would probably have been fine but I prefer my toes not hanging too near the edge.

Finalmente

Helped with my knee/hip issues. they have gone now.
These are my sixth pair of these. Lovely colours. Worn out two pairs in 7 years. Ist pair in New Zealand on prolonged walking. Others still fine. Warning if you have swollen ankles. The ankle strap can be a bit short. My mum struggled with her pair. Teva take note!
