I recently purchased a beautiful headboard from Amazon. Unfortunately, my platform bed frame did not align with the holes of the headboard. I searched for about 2 months and thankfully, I found this item and a detailed review that confirmed this item would fit on my bed frame. Please note, I have a “Mainstay Queen 14 inch High Profile Foldable Steel Platform Bed Frame” that I purchased from Walmart (sorry for the long title, but it’s important to mention, lol). This item fits perfectly on this bed frame. I’m so happy that my beautiful headboard is no longer relying on the wall for stability. If you have a frame similar to mine, this item will definitely work for you. Very easy set up, very sturdy, tools included, fast shipping (I have Prime) and reasonably priced.

I have bought two Zinus platform bed frames. The last one I purchased was with the intent of replacing not only the old bed, but the frame and head and foot board as well. So I needed to order this set of headboard brackets. Although these aren't perfect for just any headboard, they do fit the Zinus platform bed frames. And because they have quite a few open slots and can be mounted rightside up or upside down, you have some latitude in positioning these on the bedframe. Ideally they mount downward. Attaching along the outer edges of the right and left corner of each end of the frame, where there are two slots to screw the mount in. And this does come with screws to mount to the bed, and for mounting a headboard. If you find that the headboard you want to mount doesn't line up exactly, as was my case. After you attach the mounting brackets, line the headboard against the frame and brackets, take a drill, drill four holes (two on each side) through the headboard, and in minutes you can have the headboard attached. And the only one that will know it will be you. Just make sure you use the washers. It worked great for me. I let the headboard rest on the floor the same level as the platform bed because the headboard is very tall. Giving it additional stability. It doesn't wobble, you can lean back against the headboard if you want to read or sit up in bed. So it fits great, looks great. Well worth the price if you are buying these for a platform bedframe. At least a Zinus platform bedframe.

I picked these up for a base I received that didn't support a headboard. I figured the top of the frame doesn't really support any weight from the mattress or sleepers, so I checked and saw the spacing should be sufficient for me to drill a couple small holes and use these anyway. Worked like a champ, even on my bed that said you can't use a headboard with it. Easy to install even when making your own holes. It came with the nuts and bolts to mount these to the frame, as well as four long ones to use for the headboard. Those may be extra for you then, since most headboards come with the hardware to secure them to these kind of brackets anyway.

Although used on a Zinus steel bedframe, this review is only for the Zinus brackets. First, the bracket set is shipped with all the screws, washers, wing nuts, tools, & more needed to install the brackets, including extra bolts & wingnuts to be kept "just in case". I had a challenging installation and it worked out beautifully. The bed is a wooden MCM Chinese Modern double bed by Kent-Coffey, the Park Avenue model. I used the Zinus brackets to update and upgrade this bed, that began life in the 1950's as a double bed, to a usable queen size bed that no longer creaks & moans with every turn. The brackets' design flexibility allowed me to make this work. My particular application required drilling four custom holes in the footboard brackets & using my own wood screws to attach the footboard. For the headboard, the bracket slots lined up fine and I only needed to mark & drill four holes through headboard mounting boards, thus enabling me to use the longer bolts, washers, wing nuts, & the excellent wrench provided by Zinus with the bracket sets. So: - Excellent design & flexibility - Great instructions - Everything & more needed for installation in the way of accessories & even wrenches - Good quality materials sufficient to the task - Zinus appears to be a good company working hard to attract and retain customers

We moved into a new house in a new state about a month ago so we ditched a lot of our old, cheap junk before we moved.I ordered these brackets and the twin frames at the same time and they're both so great! My husband was busy getting the garage in order so I made myself useful by putting the kids' beds together. I got it all done by myself without help from my husband. It took about an hour total for each bed I put together. That time includes the unpacking, reading directions, putting together the frame, the brackets and the headboard. All of the parts and tools and pieces were there and organized. The instructions were clear and the quality is great! Either my husband or I lay in bed with our littlest every night and read with her and it feels secure for our adult body weight. A teenager uses the other one and she says it's comfy and secure. The bracket held up a heavy headboard with ease. The only negative is that it definitely took a while to arrive. They arrived on the last estimated shipping date listed which was kind of a bummer because I'm impatient and I had the frames and headboards ready to put together, just had to wait on these slow moving brackets. I can't dock them a star for it because technically they shipped in the specified time, just be aware that (for me, anyway) they didn't arrive early. Still... Definitely recommended! Pics show the finished product and a closer look at how the bracket is secured to the frame and the headboard.

I’ve used these frames before. They are sturdy, easy to install and fold for moving or storage. What I did not like was getting a damaged item. One slat was dented causing the frame to not fully flatten. Was able to use a steel pipe to pry slat up so that middle legs now touch the floor. Too much hassle to return. At least the mattress covers damaged area. It came in a box that seemed to have been opened and returned.

Ordered these to go with my headboard. Very easy to assemble and attach to my bed frame. Seems very durable too.

We purchased the queen headboard and these brackets. You need to buy these to install the headboard. The work great, very sturdy. Easy to assemble. The Zinus bedframe already has holes for these brackets. Definitely recommend buying. Without these the headboard won’t stay properly.
