For the ones who have installed screen protectors before this may seem easier compared to the ones who have no experience and who are clueless. The GOOD: The screen protector does exactly what it is supposed to do! Refection is 100% gone FULL MATTE The cut-out is perfect for the 16 Macbook pro. THREE screen protectors for this price - GREAT DEAL! THE BAD: Install is not the easiest! TOO much of a hassle when it does not need to be - there's gotta be an easier solution for the ones who cannot work around it! MY EXPERIENCE: The following pictures attached were my second try. I successfully installed it on the first try but with too many bubbles and I was getting frustrated. On the second try, I nailed it with luck and got it perfectly aligned! TIP: Use tape as a secondary holder when installing the screen protector. I started with the top and aligned the camera cut out with my hands holding the tape on each side. There will be a small gap at the bottom of the display which is normal!

I knew it’s going to be difficult to install this because it’s for a 16 inches wide laptop, if you have enough patience, you will get the result that you want. For me, I’m satisfied with what I did, except for the air bubble but they’re little ones, I’ll scrape them off again later. If you zoom in the pictures, thr upper left corner is not sticking all the way, that’s entirely my fault because I kept repositioning the sticker, over all this is an almost great screen protector and it fits perfectly with the screen. UPDATE: i got rid of all the air bubbles and looks more neat now! What I did was I lifted up the sticker where it only exposes the air bubble bc i noticed that theres a debris under it so i took it off using a scotch tape

If you can get it on without bubbles, it’s great and exactly what I was looking for. It looks just like back when Apple offered anti glare Mac screens. Beware though it’s really hard to get on correctly! I have put on many screen protectors in the past, so I knew what I was doing and even used the hinge stickers from iCarez screen protectors. I still failed on the first one and the second try I still got 1 tiny speck of dust but I didn’t want to risk messing it up to get rid of it. Tip: position your computer with the screen on the table and the keyboard away from you (held by a box or something sturdy). Then ignore the pull tabs they put on and begin your alignment at the top of the screen and center with the camera. Then use a sticker to peel away the part of the screen protector closest to you (a top corner of the screen when it’s sitting upright). After you have the entire top by the camera secured and in position, slowly remove the rest of the protector while pressing with a card in the center of the screen.

It took all of 5 minutes to apply the screen cover. The biggest challenge was finding the right angle—how to hold the material and where to place the computer. In general: I used a tap method to drop it on—did not help at all when I was removing the film. I cut out the camera hole to make it bigger so I didn't have to stress its placement—really it only fits one way and you can reposition it multiple times to get it right, thus the larger camera hole was irrelevant. I did the 1" peel method to place it down, then had to relift and use the card to lay it flat. This actually worked better than expected. First placement w/o the card resulted in massive bubbles. Second time, holding the film taught, and using the card to flatten it to the screen worked really well. I only wish i had shifted it slightly—this screen cover has edge to edge coverage, thus a slight skew means you'll have bubbling on the outer edge. If it matters to you I recommend cutting a 1/10th millimeter from the rt side prior to placing it. Overall pleased with the matte surface and how quickly I got it into place w/o bubbles even after moving it at least 1x! No discoloration from what I can tell. And better yet, NO need to clean off pesky finger prints!

As of today ( 12/7/19 ) it is still extremely difficult to find accessories for the new 16 inch MacBook Pro. I had a similar anti glare matte screen protector for my 15 inch MacBook Pro but could not find one for my new machine until I came across this. It had no previous reviews so I ordered with heavy skepticism. To my surprise the package was delivered 5 days before scheduled delivery and the product is just fantastic! Application is very easy ( make sure you're applying it in a dust free environment for a seamless experience ) it blocks almost all glare from light bulbs as well as any other direct source of light. It precisely covers the screen and the camera cutout for the FaceTime HD camera is also extremely accurate. The best part is that they send you a total of 3 screen protectors, so you have spare ones if needed down the line. I recommend you buy this if you want a good quality matte screen protector for the new 16 inch MacBook Pro.

I purchased these with the intent to replace my old screen protector. Should’ve just kept it on there. They do not give you alignment stickers. You either have to line it up perfectly and get the air bubbles out along with any little hair on your screen or you’ll have a bubble, or get your own tape and secure one side as YouTube videos show. The adhesion side pull tab is at the bottom which makes no sense. You would need to align the protector with the top left curved corner to get the alignment on the top correct so you can avoid the large air bubble as pictured on the top right of my screen. I had to use tape to secure and line it up with the borders of the screen. Overall: 3/5 stars, you get what you pay for. There’s 3 for a reason for $10. Anti glare and the fact they give you a card and microfiber cloth is the only plus. Product also doesn’t include alcohol prep wipes. I also am no professional screen protector installer so this could’ve been done better but this is my experience at home.

the quality of the anti-glare is good, but that is about the only thing that this has going for it. the means to install it is horrendous. I'm normally very good at making screen protectors perfect with no air bubbles and no lint/dust. when I pealed off the bottom of this protector it came with lint on it all over. I used adhesive tape to take off what I could, but its physically impossible with the quality of the protector to install it without having air bubbles and lint bubbles all over. I hope I can find a different brand because I'm not buying these ones again. Be fore-warned. If you don't care about air bubbles all over the screen go ahead and buy them, they do have pretty decent antiglare, especially for the impossible to keep clean apple screens.

Easy to install and immediately remove glare from my MacBook. Before peeling off the layer marked 1, align the protector film first on the screen to have an idea of where it supposes to align. I only use 1 out of 3 protector films for my MacBook. So I cut 1 up and apply it to my 12 inch car stereo head unit screen as well and very happy with it as it also removes glares from it and doesn't interfere with touch sensitivity. As a bonus, this protector film also prevent finger print on my car head unit because of the matte finish.

Perfect fit, matte finish, can be applied with no bubbles if you know how to apply. Buy if you want to get rid of the eye strain due to the glossy screen reflection.

Not recommended. Sooooo hard to stick, need a professional to do it and also not a perfect fit as the size is more than the screen size of the 16" M1

El protector de pantalla empalma perfectamente con la macbook pro de 16". La superficie tiene un acabado "opaco" o "esmerilado" lo cual reduce el reflejo pero sin afectar transparencia. Es fácil de limpiar y no se engrasa fácilmente. Con esto dicho, uno debe considerar que al aplicar un protector de pantalla de este tamaño se requiere de mucha paciencia y dedicación para aplicar el protector correctamente y evitar burbujas y polvo. Incluye 3 protectores en caso de equivocarse la primera o segunda vez.
