Good power and quicker than my last pump. Worth the buy definitely. Buy this pump you will be pleased. Auto shut off is a nice feature too!

This works great. Pumped off the water from my 15X30 pool cover in about an hour. I would definitely recommend it.

The pump when any hose of any length is attached will seldom primes and moves any water. If you get lucky you can unplug it 6-12 times and maybe it hits, maybe not. Otherwise it operates as it should, moves no water, and shuts off after about 10 seconds which I assume is a safety feature. I am a mechanical engineer and know pumps inside and out and I've never seen a centrifugal sump pump submersed in water have an issue priming and it is a total mystery to me. The check valve included is operable an no other obstructions are p resent. Unfortunately it is unusable for me. I am attempting to pump water out of a kiddy pool and will go back to gravity siphoning, it just works.

I like the pool cover pump very much great suction easy to install I like the 25 foot cord I'm using an inch and a quarter discharge hose pump works fantastic just like I thought shuts off automatically

We purchased this item for use during the winter months. In that the warranty on most items start the date of purchase, it's always a good idea to test it immediately upon arrival to make sure it functions correctly. Fortunately it worked well. Hopefully it will work well when it's needed. We have purchased another name brand pool cover pump within the last six months but the price jumped more than 50% during that time! This item had the same set of operating parameters as far as pumping power and internal on and off switches and length of electrical cord. I would say that saving $50.00 is worth trying another product.

From the moment I saw this product, I knew it was exactly what I should have bought years ago. I was cleaning my tarp after some heavy rain, and this pump cam in handy. No more creating complicated contractions to keep the pump upright, and to figure out a way to move it around the tarp to other locations. This unit is very handy, easy to put together and even easier to use. Moving it around only required a small rope to pull it in the desired direction. The auto-off functionality also came in handy when I left the pump on the tart and forgot that it was there for the day. The unit shut down when the level of water on the tart was less than 1/2 inch.

Easy to use - basically took it out of the box, clipped the bottom on and plugged it in. It was so quiet I thought it wasn't working - but it was and quickly drained the water off the pool cover
