Solid product-works great!
Works great! Crushes heavier cans and water bottles. Solidly built and looks nice mounted. Also is nice that it folds up flat against the wall when not in use.

A 2 yr old operated this flawlessly with one hand on the first try!
I bought my first one over a year ago. I'm a hardcore Redbull addict (zero shame) and go through a ton of the standard sized slim cans. Before I stumbled upon this can crusher I had been doing the overwhelmingly ineffective one handed can squish to "save space" in my recycle bin. Yep... I really "saved some space" doing it that way. Instead of fitting only 17 cans in the bin, I could fit 20 (sarcasm doesn't get much thicker than that). When I found this can crusher, I was actually looking for one, and like most people, I bought it based on the rating and number of reviews. And I was elated to find that it absolutely lived up to the hype! I have rather weak arms due to a chronic health condition (which makes me a very odd duck as I'm a maintenance tech, driveway auto mechanic of 20 years, and a furniture builder... I'm also a 5ft 100lb F), and even on my bad days when it's too painful to even lift my arms, I can still slam a can perfectly flat in this thing. My friend's 2 yr old wanted to try it out, so I totally let her take the handle.. fully supervised of course (I'm not one to deny a little girl who shows interest in how mechanical stuff works). That kid executed a single one handed downswing, and flattened a can on the first try! What I like most about this crusher, and what you'll see in almost anything made to top quality standards, is that the performance has remained consistent for over a year. While the one I bought originally has been beaten all to hell, and looks like it got run over by industrial farming equipment, it still works just as perfectly as it did when I first unboxed it. So, if it's that great, why did I need to get another one? As sturdy and well made as it is... it's not idiot proof. Nothing really is though. One of my friends (the type who thinks he's a pro .. but isn't.. at all) decided he was smarter than me ..and the manufacturers of the can crusher.. and proclaimed that he was going to "fix it" (apparently he thought the handle arm was too stiff) with a quick spritz of WD40. He'd done it before I could stop him. DO NOT make that mistake!!! The arm will not stay up anymore, and instead, flops out and down. I have had to secure it with a clothes pin ever since.. and I still yell at the idiot who messed it up whenever I see him. So.. the new one I just ordered is 100% because of how beaten up the old one looks, and it's an eyesore in my kitchen. But because it still works perfectly, I'll move the old one into my workshop where looking beaten up blends in.

Good crusher for the price
Great price and crushes large cans with ease, smaller cans required a bit more strength to crushed. Mounted it the day we received it and crushed around 1000 cans with it non-stop. It got thru the first 300-400 with ease then around halfway the arms got bent because they aren't bolted in the rivets slightly wore out. Have to make sure when you crush the can youre straight with the crusher so it doesnt bind. The can flipper also malfunctioned every 20 or so cans. Closer to 1000 can mark the rubber base is peeling off mostly gone, the can flipper function malfunctions 1 out of every 10 cans, and the unit arms seems alot more loose than when it arrived maybe consider using nuts and bolts ir screws to assemble it. Other than that the unit still works as advertised and does a good job. 4 out of 5 stars because the can flipper malfunction and the flimsy design of rivets vs screws/nuts+bolts

This is the BEST item I've EVER bought on Amazon!!
Let me say that again.....This is the absolute BEST thing I have ever bought on here. Literally. The best. Like so very many people, I buy a lot of things on here, and elsewhere. I knew for years that I wanted one. It's not one of those things you spend a lot of time thinking about. Until you have so many cans you can probably buy a new car with the funds from the trip to the recycling center. I finally just looked into these and I bought this one. My husband installed it on the back door; it's solid wood and right by the door to the basement....where all the bags of cans are stored. Should I be surprised by how much easier it is to crush the cans? I was. But I am so happy when I get to use this. I know that is really DORKY to admit but it's way true, and I am a big dork....just ask my husband. I just rinse the cans out when empty, and I love to store them for maybe a couple of weeks before I get to go be the Duchess of Dorks and crush them cans!! This crusher makes quick work of even the biggest collection of cans. As long as you installed it on the door or a wall that is solid and sturdy, you'll not have any problems. The lever is really smooth. We bought this several years ago, it's as effective and easy to use as the day we installed it. It's probably crushed a few thousand cans yet it doesn't stall, skip, or fail to evenly crush any can. And, it makes doing your part in the world of recycling easy, fast and fun! I don't know if you're going to have fun like I do; maybe only us Dorks have fun using it. Either way, you should buy it because it's easy for me to use, and I struggle with rheumatoid arthritis and fibromyalgia very severe in my fingers, hands, wrists and elbows. Yet using this is not a problem for me, I can't imagine it being a problem for very many people at all. Be a dork with me! Crush cans with this!

Buenos materiales. Solo vale para latas habituales, las alargadas no entran, podrían hacer un modelo más universal???
