Alpine SWT-12S4 1500W Max (300W RMS) Single 12" Sealed Subwoofer Tube Enclosure

I bought my 12" Alpine sub for VW Passat. First was 8" 150W one :-( Alpine Fits perfectly with extra room left in any dimention. Quick easy connection with banana plugs. In my case plugs not so secure in place. Had disconnection issue. Always mount and secure sub to the floor before use. Do not let it roll in the trunk for max performance. Or operating at all lol Sub very boomy on max. I would recomment installation of Bass knob too for volume adjustment. Tube subs Not situable for quick bass. Like in Techno music. Pop music sounds wonderfull. Bass Very deep and enjoyfull with right music.

This thing hits hard. I have it hooked up to a Rockville that pushes 360 watts rms. I tuned the amp to the subwoofer and when the bass drops you feel your insides shaking and it almost takes your breath away! My windshield shakes so hard my rearview mirror won't stay in position! I do have the gain turned down on my amp slightly to match the recommended rms watts of the subwoofer. For the price and the quality of sound I would definitely recommend to friends, family and neighbors or anyone else asking "WHAT DO YOU HAVE IN THERE?!"

They are so loud and I play my music proud

Perfect fit in the opening behind the rear seat in my 2013 Fort Taurus. The bass response is amazing, pushed by a 300 watts (bridged) amp. I had a 12” Rockford Fosgate sub in a shallow box (see picture), and it was weak and a disappointing. The Alpine 12” sub is amazingand a great deep pounding bass experience. Update: Oct 2021; Sold the Taurus, so I transferred the same setup to my 2016 Toyota Avalon. Fits perfect and still sounds amazing.
