This is my second dresser that I've purchased. The first one I purchased for my first child 2 years ago and the second one I purchased for my second child a few weeks ago. The company has definitely improved their product... The instruction manual is more clear. Be sure to read and follow every single detail, don't assume anything and don't skip reading or looking at steps - it's much faster if you follow the instructions perfectly and look at the diagrams. If you don't understand the instructions, look at the photos and you'll figure it out. Make sure to have everything positioned as it appears in the picture before installing hardware.All of my screws went into their positions with ease. Just as a head's up... My top piece (the largest and heaviest piece in the set) arrived with the wood slightly bowed, however, after installing the side pieces, the bowing became flat, so don't worry about that. Also, and this is a huge tip: when you're removing the runners from the tracks to install them onto the sides of the drawers, you have to do one at a time because you cannot remove the runners to take off the track unless all the others on that side of the dresser are closed. This dresser is set up where each half only allows you to open one drawer at a time, the others remain locked... It's a great safety feature for young children to make the dresser less likely to topple on them. But, just be aware of that and don't try to do more than one at a time. Once you install the drawers you'll hear a pop sound and that's fine - it's the runner clicking into the track. Also the drawers are difficult to pull open and close at first, but you just do it several times in a row and they loosen a bit. They're not intended to pull in and out quickly, but what's great is they open and close reasonably quietly and never tip right or left or get off track like some dresser drawers.This is a nice, quality sturdy dresser. I also appreciate that the wood has a coating over the paint that makes it waterproof, as long as you don't cause a dent. You can literally wipe any mess off with a sponge or scuffs off with a magic eraser very easily. It's great! I know because I have had my first one for over 2 years and it's been through 3 moves and done well. This second one is exactly the same, just came with an easier instruction manual.Overall it's an easy build. I'm a 41 year old woman and got it done in 2 hours while watching a movie and a show, after my children were in bed. I stopped to eat snacks, grab a drink, etc., took my leisure time. I wanted to be accurate and make sure I built it well. It could be completed faster if you don't have distractions and want it done faster. What's great about this dresser is it's a quiet build - there are no power tools required, so feel welcome to do it at night when others in your home are sleeping. I removed and cleaned all of the pieces from the box before my family went to bed because that part is loud. There's a lot of pieces of styrofoam inside the box, but it's great because I didn't have one single dent anywhere on my dresser pieces. It did take me like 30 minutes to prepare the boxing for recycling (removing tape and cutting down pieces), throwing out the styrofoam in my trash can (I breath the pieces into smaller ones so that they can all fit in one trash bag. I'm environmentally conscious and it's worth it to me to recycle correctly and as often as possible. Things that aren't prepared for recycling properly generally get sent to the dump, so that's why I make an effort so they can actually be recycled.One more tip - you can move the dresser by yourself if you have a under-carriage roller. Mine is pictured - I lifted the dresser and had my 5 year old slip it underneath the center portion so I could move it exactly where I wanted without breaking my back. And it was great. If you don't have onet, this dresser is definitely a two person lift, because of the heavier weight and the longer width.Anyway, I can definitely recommend this dresser! I've got 2 and they're wonderful for children and can fit all the clothing for one child or 2 little children inside one dresser. The drawers are an average depth, not as deep as adult dressers, but not as shallow as some come. I fold my children's clothes (aged 5.5 and 3 years old) so that a lot can fit into their dressers. We like the appearance of these and how sturdy and functional they are. I hope you find the review helpful! :)

This is a great value for the money. Packaging protects well but the confusion starts before you open the box - box says to cut tape to open but doesn't tell you which way up to open.I was concerned at first because the top seemed warped...it did straighten out nicely when I added the front & back rails and seems to be staying straight.The instructions are OK, there are a few places where the orientation of the drawings changes but it isn't noted and can't tell in the drawings. The drawer assembly diagrams are also confusing so I ended up re-assembling two of them. Drawer knobs are glossy painted wood and match well.Once assembled the piece is very nice. Has a glossy consistent finish. 3 nicks in the paint but they're all on the back or bottom where they won't ever be seen so I didn't contact the company. Case feels substantial and has nice weight to it. Most of the screws in the case go into embedded threads so it's not a major problem to take apart and re-do it the right way.Once assembled the drawers feel OK, they're plywood sides/back and hardboard bottom screwed on all sides. Fit is OK, glides are basic but functional. Drawers are assembled differently right/left side from the same parts, which is smart but needed clearer instructions. Drawers are also a bit shallow for the depth of the case, they could be about 2 inches deeper.Warranty paperwork is a bit misleading, dresser includes a 90 day warranty and the red paper says you can BUY and extended warranty for an extra $50 in certain locations.....after registering.There is a bag of extra hardware included (with an extra knob), which is a nice touch.

Got this for our nursery and I love the color and quality of this dresser. Pretty easy to assemble and move around as well. Love that you can have the drawers lock when one is open and also keep it from tipping over making it safe for the kids!

I built this 8 months pregnant by myself with an auto screwdriver and lots of breaks. Was easy and quality is there. Love the mechanism for only opening 1 drawer per side at a time. Only issue was the crappy drawer knobs which I replaced with quartz ones that look amazing!! This item is perfect for a little ones room.

Note, this is HEAVY and requires assembly. I was able to do this alone, but if you are small and/or don't have help to carry you may struggle.Assembly was pretty easy to handle. There are a good bit of pieces, but not bad and the instructions were straightforward.Pros- sturdy heavy dresser. Easy assembly, looks good. The external frame appears to be extremely solid.Cons- the drawers are a tad flimsy. Not terribly, but will be a point to watch as kids will be rough on them. The safety latches worked well on one side, but not the other. I ended up removing them as it took a significant force to open on of the drawers on the bad side. The dividers between the drawers is a bit loose. Doesn't affect the usage, but something I would have addressed if I put another together

It was very easy to assemble. It feels pretty stable and the safety feature is great, like how the lower drawers can't open if top drawer is open. The color and design are beautiful. It looks just like shown in pic. I hope my grandson will get to enjoy it for a long time.

The media could not be loaded.  Such great quality and price for this sturdy kids dresser. Looks so beauty in the nursery or for kids room. Hubby built it on his own. The drawers were a bit hard to open and would lock up at first but after a few days they open up just fine and smooth. Luckily no missing parts. The money was worth it for the quality.

This dresser is solid! It definitely isn't cheap quality. It is heavy! It took a while to put together but went together pretty easy.
