Perfect. Beautiful and accurate time keeping.

Great product. Love the Eco Drive. The watch is exactly what I wanted and expected: sleek, clean, and stylish. No regrets. But beware, as I was when I purchased, so that is why this still gets a 5-star: because the entire face and watch are black, as are the hands, if you are not in decent light, it is very hard to read the time. Not entirely a drawback for me, as again, I knew what I was getting into. I just don't wear this watch in my rotation if I really want to be able to read it and I won't be in good light.

Depending on the lighting, it can be hard if not impossible to see the black hands on the black face but with decent lighting it's fine. Otherwise, like my other citizen eco drive watches, it works perfectly and I expect it will continue to work perfectly for years and years

I bought both the completely blacked out model, and also the silver hand model. They are both beautiful. It’s a shame the blacked out model comes with the metal strap, and the silver hand model only comes with a leather strap. I wish they would give the option of the metal strap on both. Having both straps on hand, the metal one gives the watch a much higher quality feel, and it’s very comfortable. In my humble opinion, I feel like the black leather strap is kind of cheap looking. I think the blacked out model is very cool looking and makes a statement, but if you want a better chance of knowing the time in a variety of light situations, you really want the silver hand. At this time, citizen does not offer the metal strap separately! What’s shame. Regardless, very classy and sophisticated regardless of which one you choose. And Citizens eco-drive is amazing and top notch.

I loved this watch, it is very sleek and sophisticated. My hubby didn't like it because it was a bit much for him, he thought it was a tad too fancy and didn't like the black dial and hands. It was a bit hard to read but looking at it at an angle it was readable. I exchanged it for a more rugged watch for him that is also EcoDrive and he really likes that one. I have an EcoDrive myself and will not wear anything else now. I drain watch batteries like no ones business, and I have had my watch for over 5 years and its never gone dead - best watch ever! Would recommend EcoDrive to anyone and this watch in particular to anyone who likes a sophisticated sleek watch, it's absolutely beautiful.

UPDATED REVIEW: I had to return the first watch because the Eco Drive function was not working properly. One night, it stopped working so the next day, I placed it near one of my huge windows where it should have received enough light to start working again. The watch didn't start working until later that night and then it stopped again, then it restarted again, and then it stopped again. I just received my SECOND watch and the hands looked terrible like the first one. So I'm returning the second one. ORIGINAL REVIEW: First, I must say that the Amazon team members are great. I had two issues with this watch, which I just received yesterday. I called Amazon today and the matter was resolved to my satisfaction. A big "thank you" to the Amazon team. I don't have an issue with the readability- I bought the watch for its looks, not the functionality. The two issues I had were: 1. The hands look oxidized, as you can see in the pictures; they don't have that smooth finish that we see online. 2. There was a small scratch on the crown (I didn't post a picture of the scratch because my main issue was the finish of the hands). I just wanted my fellow Amazon shoppers to be aware of this situation in case they buy the watch. It's a beautiful watch. Just make sure you inspect it carefully. I decided to keep the watch. The Amazon team took care of me. Thank you again.

As other people have said this watch isn't really for telling time but then again, what watch is these days? Even when I wear a watch I look at the time on my cellphone 97% of the time. So if we are being honest, watches are more about style than use these days. The watch face is black, the hands are black, the band is black. It's hard to tell the time on the watch unless you're under a good source of light. But holy cow does it look good with my black or gray suit. I own 3 watches. A blue Skagen, a Samsung smart watch, and this watch. All of them are great but this one garners attention unlike the other two. I have a medium sized wrist and the face isn't too big but I did have to have a few links removed at Finks.

I bought this as a gift for my husband and he loves it. It's actually become his go-to watch. It has really clean lines, and a good size face. The leather band is classic and adds a classy touch. This is an easy watch that can be worn with anything - from a suit to a more casual look. The eco drive series by Citizen is amazing - the fact that you don't need to buy batteries for this watch and that it recharges using light is genius. After trying to get batteries changed on all of his other watched (which is expensive and a pain) - my husband has now requested that i only buy rechargeable watches from now on.

Very sleek and lovely. Just super happy with this. Contacted the seller before making the purchase as I was skeptical about the brand authenticity which they will ship. But very happy with the product. Love it totally. And it was in a great condition at the time of reaching my doorstep.
