Kayak
Delivery was great. Both times I ordered. These are solid kayaks for recreation. Tracking is good. Seat is comfortable and breathes for a few hours. Adjustable. I’d recommend you buy a kayak dolley with these to tote them to the kayak launch area. The weight is ok but if you have to go a distance it’s worth it.

It's fine sitting still. Don't try and go anywhere.
Doesn't move well. When your rowing, it's like your dragging weights. I use my kayak to cruise a lake and for exercise. I had a cheaper kayak and it was fine. Thought I'd move up. This takes the fun out if it. Doesn't turn or tack well. Rowboats are more mobile.

Nice Kayak, but has poorly placed drain plug. This is important!
The Vapor is the epitome of what a general purpose Kayak should be. Handles well, sheds water in class 2 / 3 rapids, works well as a fly fishing kayak, but I can't get over the poor design of the side mounted drain plug. It is impossible to empty out water which makes it a pain on the river and during cleaning. The plug is side mounted and has an extended lip to boot. You end up with about a gallon or so of water and debris that has to be mopped out slowly by hand with a towel. Old Towne you can do better than this! We need a retro-fit kit to move drain to the rear where it should be.

Sturdy Safe Kayak
I bought this brand but my husband bought a pelican kayak. After we went kayaking down the river he went and bought the old town vapor. It’s sturdy and very safe. Would definitely recommend this as I have to are a lot of our friends

Worst kayak I've ever been in.
Maneuvers like an aircraft carrier, tracks like a turd, too tall and narrow to be considered recreational or sport.
