Please verify this is a normally closed switch. On increasing pressure the switch opens and electrical continuity to ground is broken?

Yes switch is normally closed I used it to turn on oil pressure light. When motor builds pressure light turns off

What pressure is this set to?

My light comes on around 15 psi

Is the thread 1/8 inch pipe thread?

I don't know about the size but it will fit 230 chevy engine, 1965

Does this fit a 67 396 engine

As long as the 396 still has the factory threads and hole size it should fit wonderfully
