DR Strings HI-DEF NEON Acoustic Guitar Strings (NGB-45)

Estas cuerdas son perfectas, hago el trabajo de tune-up para Ana, la bajista de RUSTIL (Hard/Glamm-Rock) y les digo que ella quedo boca abierta cuando enchufo su bajo para probarlo. Ella quedo enamorada de estas cuerdas, de su sonido, el color, la sensación. Como crítica constructiva, la única desventaja es que al paso del tiempo y si eres un músico bajista que usa pajuela y no tus dedos; terminas pelando la pintura en la zona de ataque de las cuerdas... These strings are perfect, I work for Ana tune-up, the bassist RUSTIL (Hard / Glamm-Rock) and tell them that she was his mouth open when I plug in to test it. She was in love with these strings, the sound, the color, the feel. As constructive criticism, the only downside is that over time if you're a musician and bassist who use pick and not your fingers; strip the paint finish in the attack of the strings.

I put these things on a Gretsch 4 string hollow body bass guitar, and I must say it didn't dissapoint me at all! I love that fat sound from this bass guitar, and it got nicer with these strings. Better high end, cool mid-tones. The color does not wash away, even after using it a lot (it's been 3 months now, playing with them at least 4 hours a week). And they look incredibly cool! I already bought 3 more packets just to keep some spares.

These strings look awesome.. sound awesome.. and we're very easy to install. They're basically just like regular strings only cooler 😎 !!

These strings are fantastic. They sound just like Rotosounds without the high-end harshness. The coating is awesome - My only complaint is that it's far too easy to accidentally scrape some off while you're stringing up your bass. Otherwise, with fingers and picks (and fingernails!) I found this coating to still be more durable than any other on the market. The green is brilliant. Bright and stands out. I do wish that DR provided this in different gauges and types (flatwound, anyone?) but otherwise these are top notch not only for looks - but also sound. The ton, as I said earlier, is much like Rotosounds without the harshness. They have a nice aggressive growl - Even for medium gauge! The coating does not seem to have any real negative effect, and I've been using these strings for a few weeks now without any deadening of the tone. I do believe that this coating will keep the strings quality up to snuff for months - if not years - to come! I certainly won't be swapping them out any time soon. While there's other strings that I use, I will always keep a pack of Neons handy for my Yamaha 4-string. They definitely exceed what I expected; Just novelty? Most certainly not!

These strings are amazing i bought these strings about 5 months ago. They still sounded good up until i replaced them for new neon dr strings. They do shine in the dark a little bit, but if you shine a light on it and turn it off they do glow in the dark which i find pretty cool. I find these strings really worth for the price and i will be purchasing these strings for a while.

Strung these up to my Mitchell and the G string snapped on both the packs of these I bought so I never got to try them out.

I have been using DR strings ever since I started playing the bass and they are VERY durable, and they stay vibrantly neon green, even after a years usage. Now that I order a new pair of these strings (thicker than my last set) I love them so much and I get so many compliments about the strings, as they compliment my black fender Jaguar bass very nicely.

Gave these to my bassist for a glow-in-the-dark/blacklight show and they look pretty cool! They don't really glow as much as you'd think, but they do make the bass pop, especially if it's a darker colored bass. My recommendation if you have multiple shows coming up where you need these strings is to just buy multiple packs to cover all the shows and change every night. They flake really quick.

DR make very good quality strings. These neon green strings look and sound fantastic. Nice booming bass response and quite clear and articulate sounding. The coloured coating will show wear over time, especially around were telling string meets the fret.

Tienen un sonido genial, sin ningún problema por el envió aun que fue por AMZMX (por fin de semana). Si tienes la oportunidad comprarlas cuando estén de oferta las e visto hasta en $500 aun así con el precio que tienen valen la pena, te dará gusto por cada día tu bajo! se nota la buena calidad como en el cuerpo de las cuerdas y el el color!

It seems good but very expecsive

These are absolutely wicked. They look super bright in day time and gives a funky look. Contrasts well with my blue bass. Under UV light shines quite crazy. And it feels great too a very smooth feel to play with and sounds great too. Nothing extraordinary but has a nice warm tone. Whether the colour fades with time will have to wait and see. 1 month in no issues at all . Have made a YouTube video 'Iron Man - Black Sabbath bass cover (with DR neon strings)' with these strings of u wanna see and hear that they sound like. Great buy overall
