Memphis Shades MEP8530 Clear Windshield (Batwing Fairing For Fairing 12")

The short windshield looks and works great, and gives a 'cool' look to my black fat-boy low. The coverage offered by the short shield is minimal, but it only takes 10 minutes or so to put my old, taller windshield on it when the weather turns cold. I'm very pleased with this purchase.

I've done a lot of research looking for just the right size Memphis Shades Windshield for my Fairing. After numerous reviews and blogs I decided to go with the 9" Gradient Black. I am 5' 9" tall, and ride a 2010 Honda Phantom with a seat height of 25.7", and prefer to sit normal on the bike not hunched over, therefore after trying the 9" windshield I wished I purchased the 12" instead! The 9" works great at lower speeds, below 50 mph, but at that speed and higher you get a lot of buffeting right in the face forcing you to either deal with it or hunch over to lower your head height. This shield is fine for summer driving since I can live with some of the buffeting, however for spring and fall riding I find the 12" to the windshield of choice!

For the cold weather, this windshield is a must have! It fits perfectly to the Batwing Fairing, and feels very solid and stable. The installation took about five minutes using the mounting equipment that came with the Batwing fairing. I did have to adjust the angle of the fairing in order to help reduce wind buffeting. I am about 5'8", wear a full face helmet and ride a 2015 Street Bob. I have used this shield for a few months now, and it has held up very well. This windshield has saved me from taking many bugs a other hazards to the face and chest. I hope this review helps!

Love the fairing, very high equality for a cheap price, worth buying and very happy that my 2000 Honda Shadow feels new again..

No protective cover was on the windshield, and it arrived with scratches all along the entire windshield on both sides. At this price, it should have a protective covering.

Does what it was intended to and easy to install

Arrived on time, well packaged, and was easy to put on the batwing cowl. Wish I had just replaced the hazy original a long time ago. Worth it.

It was a perfect replacement part. Holes lined up. Just what I needed.

Didn’t like that there was no mounting hardware included & it didn’t state that when purchased. Put it on my Vegas 8 ball motorcycle.
