This little thing does such a great job of isolating the sound going into the mic. It won't block everything, but certainly makes the mixing and editing process easie with less noise to edit out.

Have not recorded with it yet but definitely makes difference

Received this package in a timely manner. Opened the box and the product was in perfect condition. I've owned other versions of the sE Electronics RFs from the RFX to the Pro and now the SPACE. I definitely have to say that as someone who has recorded in many different settings, this is one of the best experiences I've had for mobile recording. In my apartment to a studio to hotel rooms, I get a solid consistent performance.

There’s a lot of cheap vocal shields on Amazon that don’t do a damn thing. I had used the older/smaller model of the SE shield awhile back and this one is an improvement all around. Looks sharp, easier to setup and move, and most importantly, sounds incredible. It really focuses the sound. I’ve used one in a pinch in a room I thought would be unusable for pop vocals and was blown away by how good of a job this did!

This works significantly better with treating reflections than any of the soft foam rigs of similar style out there. While it’s not a perfect solution, it does cut a lot of noise and room on the back side of the mic. I used this with a Townsend labs sphere l22, which has calibration for this exact model in the software, and when flipping the pickup to isolated the mic’s back capsule, you can hear the treatment dries up the signal quite a bit. The trouble lies in reflection surfaces behind the singer where the polar pattern is going to be most sensitive which requires a completely different solution. But for what you get with this, it works quite well overall.Construction is very heavy duty and the mounting brackets and hardware is very robust and made of metal.I bought this and the SE reflexion model under this at the same time to shoot out, and I was much happier with this version and I believe it shows in construction quality and performance.

I loved it so light weight works so good I would totally buy again

Excellent quality & effective. Only complaint is the microphone post is 3/8" thread and does not include adapter for 5/8". I needed to purchase an adapter (On Stage MA200 5/8-inch Male to 3/8-inch Female Mic Screw Adapter) to mount my mic. Small expense, but super annoying -- had to wait a couple days to use my $400 acoustic shield on a $3 part since not something local music stores normally carry. Oddly enough, GC did have less expensive versions of the sE Electronics shields on display and they did have the threaded adapter. Why not included with the Space -- their premium shield -- is a mystery. I thought perhaps a mistake at factory, but it's not called out in the user manual either as being one of the parts included.

Superb pice of Kit for the smaller studios - Looks good too reasonably easy to set up

Excellent product....it really does effectively creat a mini-studio in average conditions.
