Good construction. Good thickness, especially at the bottom if it will be used on a heating plate. Better quality IMHO than the Karter Scientific 5L.

I had high hopes for this flask. However, during first use I realized that what I received was not 5000ml flask, but a 4500ml flask. Then, just now, when carefully pouring from the flask most of the extraction was lost because the spout is poorly designed. The liquid being poured adhered to flask's sides, then spread across the working surface/table. Money literally down the drain.

Bought this about 2 months ago and I have Used this beaker tons of times to boil solutions for hours and hours but yesterday I heated a solution to about medium heat then turned hot plate off so it could cool down but a few mins later the bottom cracked….not sure why. But aside from that I actually liked this beaker and will probably be buying another one. I added a picture of crack (yes I tapped the crack so I can still use beaker to hold water lol)

Good price for a mixing container this large, however they would be infinitely more useful with a 500ml graduation mark (all the other liter and half liter points have marks).

I bought 3 of these. 2 broke with the first use for some unknown reason. All I did was put the hot liquids in it and it immediately broke. Beakers are FOR hot liquids! Why does it break? Do not buy these if you are planning on putting anything in them. The 3rd one, I haven't even used bc I'm scared it is going to break as well. Returning it

Fleissig im Einsatz. Erfüllt bestens seinen Zweck. Bin auch schon das eine oder andere mal mit dem Teil irgendwo leicht angeknallt, keine Risse, nichts abgesplittert, läuft. Klare Kaufempfehlung.
