Scrabble Deluxe Vintage Edition with Rotating Game Board

Not having the letter tiles slide around is a true joy! We got this unit as a returned item, but it was unopened. The bad -Upon unboxing I found one of the side rails that hold the board in place was barely glued in place, and promptly fell off. The good -There was a included card telling who to contact with any issues, so I contacted the importer (from China) and they promptly and magnanimously replaced the game. REAL stand up folks! Review: +This set is so cool... The thing looks great, you'll get a wow when folks see it for the first time. It rotates on little wheels, so it's easy to position to the next player, and, because of the divider grid, the tiles stay zactly in place when rotating the board. No more stiff necks and trying to read the board at odd angles or straightening out the previously spelled words for any mishap. ~I would suggest that one avail themselves of a Crown Royal bag to keep the tiles in, as the included bag is of fairly stiff canvas type material, which makes it difficult to thin out the tiles to fit in the provided compartment when storing the board.

My family and I love to play scrabble. This board is amazing. The turning table is incredible for all players to see straight on. The tiles each have a space they slip into and stay perfectly. Nothing is more annoying than having to continuously adjust the letters everytime someone adds a new word to the board. This is not the case with this one. The board quality is amazing. Has a vintage feel and will definitely be passed down/kept for a long long time. Pricey for the game but so very worth it. The packaging was also beautiful.

Worth every penny! For scrabble lovers this edition is the real deal with letter locking , spinning board. Aesthetically pleasing, fun to play.

This game was a gift to the scrabble fans in the family. I have been looking for a while to find an affordable version that used good material (wood rather than plastic), the original colors for double and triple word or letter fields (most were different), the option to rotate the board and capacity to store the pieces. The scrabble fans love it.

We love how each player can swivel the board to face said player.

With the turntable mounted on the bottom of the wooden storage box the gameboard was higher than I liked. I removed the 3 screws holding the turning thingy and remounted it to the bottom of the gameboard. Remove the spacer holding the scorepad & letter racks & there”s plenty of room the turning thingy to fit into the storage box. Perfect! Set is sturdy & recommended.

This looks beautiful on our coffee table and we enjoy playing scrabble on this beautiful board! It's our favorite game and our kids love to play, it's so lovely to have a set that can sit out and be enjoyed all the time.

Due to the price of this, this is why I am only giving 3 stars. It's made of wood, but cheap wood. It is going to scratch, ding very easily. It's that soft wood. It is also made kind of weird for me, The scrabble name goes down the side but the set up of how you play doesn't line up with it. I am an OCD type person and this really bothers me. I do like the metal rising that holds the placement of the tiles. The score card is very small.... not the best. It is OK... I am a little disappointed in the overall quality of it. I am keeping it. Just disappointed is all for the amount that it cost.

Purchased this for a wedding gift for my sister in-law. it was absolutely perfect.

A gift for my wife's birthday... she loves scrabble and it's perfect. The lazy-susan style board floats easily and the board itself is beautiful. The tile bag is a little small, but it is a standard size Scrabble bag, but it's a good reminder to me maybe buy a larger tile bag.

I couldn't be happier with this game! It is wonderfully made...very classy for a classic game! Also super happy if arrived just in time for Christmas, I recieved it less than two days and today is the 23rd!

So happy with our board. Love the way it feels, the weight, the craftsmanship. Wanted it to swivel and it was very well designed to do so. The beveled board was great for keeping tiles in place. Love the 'long-term' score book. Great packaging and colour scheme was nostalgic. We wanted this piece to be an heirloom and were happily surprised to find it online. You guys did a wonderful job. Only suggestion: maybe add the score ratings for number of players on the board for reference. Will buy from you again if ever there is a chance.
