Fun WorldAdult Skeleton Opera Gloves

These were better than expected after I had ordered another pair around the same time that was already ripped in the package. These seem to be packed the same style having the same cardboard insert to keep the fingers which didn't rip them or cause damage like the other ones. I got these for a character I do Standup Comedy as Smokey Daze Haze The Hayabusa Plague Bearer... The Dank Phoenix of Comedy. My goal was so that nobody can see my upper arms like other gloves can show. Also they let me work the video camera so I can hit the record button to start instead of having to put on the glove afterwards.Negatives - They only print the skeleton stuff on a single side unlike the other pair I had which was double sided. The Bones don't quite lineup well or perfectly so that is another reason I only gave this 4 stars in everything. The stitching around the fingers is a bit off or mishaped including how long each finger is. Hence your hand might not fit quite perfectly into these its not that stretchy or overly stiff.Positives - I wore these for a few Blazed Bits or Standup Sets without having any issues knock on wood of them ripping. Though I try to be careful as I don't think they are that durable. I'm able to get these further up my arms then the other pair I had which was ripped anyways. Hence I think they are a bit better for stretching or for comfort compared to others of this kind or style.Blazed Bits - While these are not perfect I think they are pretty cool for what I wanted to do. If your looking for something for a Halloween outfit perhaps these only being single printed would be a negative to that goal. Bones not really lining up perfectly might be another reason to look for another pair though its not easy to find them from reviews which are not accurate or honest. For a No Frills Skeleton Opera Gloves to help hide your skin so people don't assign some race or ethnic group to you they are ideal. I wear them with a Plague Mask along with a cloak, cape, including a Skull face covering for my neck. I'm able to use my hands well enough compared to when I wore Miracle Gloves which were made for cooking or baking. So they should allow a person to text or manage using a cell phone or other devices well enough to keep them on. I got the idea for buying them when I saw a Female wearing a fingerless Skeleton Gloves along with Brutus Beefcake who would wear the things up his arms. I kinda combined that concept without even knowing what Opera Gloves were prior to getting them. I think they are fine for males even if most people consider this style to be something for Women. I have longer thinner fingers so if your fingers are shorter or stubby then these might not fit well or be useful to wear.

I had read the other reviews and knew more or less what to expect - passable quality and some DIY-work required. They were not overtly bad quality except for the fact that they weren't sewn realistically to the shape of human hands -- if you draw a line through all the points where the fingers meet the palm, it's just a steep diagonal. This means that some fingers will be connected much too high for you to have proper dexterity. All the fingers are also approximately the same length, so the pinky is way too long. I suspect, too, that the proportions of arm diameter to finger diameter is such that you'll either have slightly loose tops or very tight fingers.All this said, I have smaller hands, and though the tops were loose, these worked fine for me with some hand alteration and some bunching of fabric (due to the weird diagonal of the fingers) that I didn't care about since it was just for Halloween. Like another reviewer said, I wouldn't buy them unless you're prepared to do a bit of work yourself.

These are pretty nice, especially for the price. I only wish they had print on the back! The fingers are also a tiny bit long for me (however, I have very small hands and not particularly long fingers either). The sleeves are definitely tight but it's good to help them stay on your arms (I actually like that fit). For me who is 5'2, they go a few inches past my elbows. As for the quality of the stitching, I haven't worn them out yet, but they seem to be decent enough quality.

I bought these for my teenage son for his grim reaper costume. His hands aren't overly large, but I wear a size small nitrile glove and they fit me pretty well. The seams on one glove busted out on him after about 10 minutes, and the second glove lasted a couple hours. The stitching on them was sub-par, to say the least. However, they do look pretty cool, and are pretty cheap, so I'm willing to re-sew them myself and be satisfied.

For some reason the thumbs are very short and the pinky fingers are very long (so long that I think i am going to cut off the extra almost inch of fabric and sew them shorter). I would also prefer if they had more elasticity at the top to hold them up better, but I suppose they might be tighter on someone with larger arms. I'm not small 5'9" woman, but I guess i have fairly small arms.

REALLY short fingers in these gloves. If you're a man who wears medium or larger gloves, these will probably give you some issues. Particularly the material between the index finger and thumb is lacking. That aside, these look great and stay in place. They do not, however, work with a touch screen, so get your phone business done before you put them on.

These are very comfortable, but the seams of mine popped in a couple places very quickly. They were still wearable, but it was disappointing to see them damaged so quickly.

Everyone wanted to borrow these at work on Halloween. Worked really well for my constume and I like them. Only issue is there is one spot where the seam isn't sewn.
