Epson C12C811431 Optional Roll Media Adapter

Just received the roll paper option for my new SC 800P printer. Really well packaged for the shipment to me. Very little chance of damage. Very simple to install. Clip in two top hooks and two turn-screws at the bottom and you are done. The spindle is great, very well made, and paper loads easily. Wish it had some kind of dust cover over it though. Another great Epson product.

Does what it is advertised to do without a problem. Seems fairly well constructed except for the little tabs that snap the mount to the back of the printer. This is not a concern for me as you can leave it attached and still print with sheet paper.

We bought it to go with a printer that had to be returned. We could not return the adapter because it was 2'days over the 30 day return period with no original box. Now I have a print roll adapter which I cannot use because I no longer have the defective printer. This has been a nightmare from beginning to end. I will never buy Epson again 😡 Brand new unused adapter for sale on EBay. 😒😒😒😡

The Epson SureColor P800 printer/plotter is a true work horse and delivers awesome results. The lack of this roll media adapter is justified to reduce the price of the original printer, so that those who do not need it are not burdened with the higher price. But for those of us who need it the price is absolutely justified and deserves every single penny it costs. It fits perfectly, it adjusts firmly and it feeds the paper -what else?- perfectly! It may seem simple but it is not. Those who have experience with large format printers and plotters can understand why it matters.
