Can this tablet charge wirelessly?

Yes it has the ability to charge wirelessly. However, in order to do so, you must root the tablet and make some customized modifications that may void your warranty and possibly jeopardize the stability of the tablet. Only try it if you know what to do.

Is there anyway to install the apps to the MicroSD card so it won't be limited by the internal 8GB memory (actually less after the OS used up some)?

the internal memory is a virtualized sd card itself rather than the standard "hard drive" architechture, so no, not really, you can't run apps from the SD card. You are able, using the Folder Mount app in the Play store, to keep app data for gaming profiles etc. (all the data for the app (obb, etc.) other than the app (.apk) itself running from the sd card.

Is there anyway to upgrade the Android to a newer version and if yes, how and which newer version is supported?

It's quite simple to root and upgrade the version.  If you want to maintain the stock applications, it might be a touch trickier, but i was supremely unimpressed with the bloatware it came with, anyway.The first time i rooted/flashed my own Sero 7 Pro, i used the scripts and software here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2297246, and it worked fine.Last night, i was working on doing the same with another Sero 7 (one of two i'm setting up for my granddaughters' Christmas present) and had a little trouble with that, but was able to easily get it done with this page's help: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2470998"TakTik" - a modified KitKat ROM is available; a version with almost everything working (including the cameras, which was a problem with earlier versions) is here: http://romsforandroids.blogspot.com/2014/01/devrom-sero-7-pro-taktik-android-44-r11.html.I installed TakTik, but i didn't like several of the changes from JellyBean, so i switched back.  If you do install any new ROM on a tablet you've got running the way you like, make sure that you have a copy of the ROM you are running to flash back to if you don't like the "upgrade", and use Titanium Backup Root free edition to make a complete backup of your entire system so that you can put it all back the way it was after reflashing.

I just checked the Hisense web site and the Sero 7 Pro uses a 5v/2A charger (most USB chargers are 1A so you want to look for one that will put out 2 amps.) A regular 1A charger will "work" but it will take at least twice as long to charge the tablet.
