Ateco 3.5-Inch Round Stainless Steel Cutter

This 6-inch stainless steel cutter is well-made and holds its shape without bending. The edge cuts cleanly through dough, tortillas, and other soft foods, while the rolled top makes it comfortable to use. I’ve found it especially useful for making personal-sized pizza crusts, large cookies, and evenly sized pastry rounds. It’s easy to clean, feels durable, and should last for years. A simple tool, but very handy to have in the kitchen.

Good product and versatile

I saw a YouTube video that recommended using a similar product for forming hamburgers. This item works well for that purpose. I loosely shred out the hamburger, add spice, lightly mix without mushing it, then put this item on a square of wax paper and gently press some hamburger in there until it forms a round patty. This size is good if you like your burgers on the bigger size. I make 8 from the typical 3+ lb. package of 85% hamburger, so roughly 1/2 lb patties at about 1/4" thick before grilling. This method works really well and only takes about 30 minutes to make 8. The patties don't fall apart or turn into meatballs when grilling.

Works well. I bought mine for about $5, they're now almost $9 for a single piece. I wouldn't pay more than $5. You can get a better deal or a set.

I cannot do without a good cutter when making biscuits, or cutting puff pastry for desserts. The rounded top protects the hand from pressure

Just what I wanted. Actually I wanted a 4 inch wide biscuit cutter, but this one was 4 1/2 and so I thought bigger the better.

After traveling to 4 different South American countries last year, where we enjoyed different styles of empanadas in each, I tried my hand at making them at home. I made small snack size empanadas at first with my biscuit cutter, but I thought the ratio of dough to filling was too high, so I ordered this cutter so that I could make larger meal size pies. I use my small pizza dough roller to roll out the dough balls to roughly circular shapes, then use this cutter to give them a perfect shape. The result is perfect shapes every time with professional looking results. The cutter is a bit flimsy, but I store it nested with my other cutters in a drawer so that it doesn’t get bent or misshapen.

When the weather is cold and the snow if 2 ft. deep, there's no way I'm braving iced roads to buy donuts. With this stainless steel cutter, I don't have to. It's the perfect size to make those custard filled Bavarian Cream donuts, or Bizmarks, filled with lots of my favorite jam. I even use it to make round "Long Johns" stuffed with cream or custard, with the chocolate glaze on top. The donuts look professional, The dough cuts cleanly without a lot of pressure. The stainless steel cutter is much sturdier and durable than the ones made from tin or aluminum. The most difficult part is waiting for the doughnuts to cool so I can fill them before eating. I'm also saving about $6 a dozen (or more), by making them myself (using better quality ingredients).

At last, a decent size cutter and easy to clean

Good product but took a long time to deliver and little information on delivery was useless as the information did not come up on any delivery company at all. Order on 17/11/2022 not delivered until 29/11/2022 and no text or email stating the day or time it would be delivered or by who.

The product build quality is a bit flimsy. The Metal sheet used in the cutter is very thin, it should have been thicker.

Hard to find this size and it is nice and sturdy and does a great job cutting my scones.
