1. Packaging used and torn before leaving envelope.#2. Discovered cannot use rechargeable battery’s upon initial removal of back#3. Battery contacts clearly show prior connection and usage.#4. Battery cover could be difficult for people with hand issues to remove as it clicks in pretty solid.#5. Battery cover gave me some some issue reinstalling as the corners liked to fight going back into, and staying in place as you can see in my pictures. This was even when inserting bottom in first and moving upwards to set.Again, this could present issues for folks with hand issues (or short tempers lol)Was disappointed as I was excited to have a standard battery pack back up for my response radio, and disappointed I got stuck dealing with yet another Amazon seller who apparently has zero issue with selling used, returned equipment as new, and luring customers in with the promises of gifts, they have no intention of sending out.With the small size of envelope used, I see little possibility it was a simple oversight, and that still would not explain the condition of the battery pack.On top of that, the fact this pack is not designed to be used with rechargeable batteries is not okay, Especially with this Dan age of environmental consciousness, I simply can’t imagine designing a pack that you cannot use both standard and rechargeable, I have other radios with alternate packs, and they all are capable of using rechargeable or standard, this is simply an unacceptable design to me.Verdict- returning for refund and striking seller from potential future purchases.

I don't have a KG-UVD1P burt I have a KG-805G which is based on the same platform. Though not advertised to fit KG-805G, it does fit.The 2-piece design is a little tricky. However I did not need to use a screwdriver to separate the 2 pieces, as some reviewers seem to say. There is a tab at the center of the top of the inner piece, and I can lift the piece with a finger by pulling the tab away from the batteries. To replace the inner piece, first I set the bottom of the inner piece in place and then I press the top into place. Similarly to place the battery case into the radio I set the bottom of the case in place at the bottom of the radio, and then squeeze the top of the case together with the top of the radio.I might have rated it 5 stars if it were compatible with rechargeable (NiMH) AA cells. The label on the case indicates "Do not use rechargeable batteries".
