Good product. I used it to make a mini kiln like Simon Leach made for bisque firing ceramic and it works very well. It is durable easy to cut and true to the dimensions stated. Holds heat very well. What I did not expect although it was not a big deal was it is impregnated with small silica beads that do fall out and get everywhere. I did not see that mentioned anywhere so just know that.

Excellent quality insulation! Easy to cut and work with, and it handles high heat just as advertised. Used it for a forge project and it performed perfectly. Highly recommend for any high-temp application.

Dense, sturdy easily cut to size insulation. Not easily compressed if you're stuffing it into a space smaller that the 1" thickness.
